In Traveller Plus, there are skills that cover Languages.  For those who, like yourself, chose the Classic Traveller method, I haven't given it much thought. Give me some time to look it over tonight and I'll come up with something.  I gotta get ready for work very soon.

With the signing of the Armistice after the Battle of the Two Suns, Minorb and Yres had suffered greatly and were still Amber Zones due to dangerous waste from the war still being present there.  A lot of Imperial archaeologists, historians, and other scientists were the only ones making regular expeditions to that area, and only then with His Majesty's kind permission.


Pixie and Boughene would be great worlds to set up on as a staging world. One jump from Yres and Menorb.

One term in the Marines and out, that made for quick chargen :)

I just need to determine my single mustering out benefit and buy whatever I have with whatever money a '7' garners me and I'll be done.

It was always a funny trope having a Traveller character die on their 7th term of chargen...

With only two skills I decided to take Gambling as one of them to add a nice bit of color.  Blackie is a bit of a rogue who always has a poker game going in the barracks or bunk room :)

Right with you. One term navy then oops and out. Frustrating but thats the game and I used to love generating characters just for the sake of doing it.

Aw c'mon. 2nd character, scouts enlistment. Injured 1st term...

Two 20 year old characters, next to no skills between them. Wanted at least a slight difference between them... This dice roller hates my survival rolls. Doesn't bode well for combat!!

Still, JoaT 1 and Mechanical 1. Could have been worse.
