Character Creation
Before we even start on the subject of the mechanics of what class we each want, I suggest we first talk out what we want to be good at.  Do you want to be a diplomat?  A frontline warrior?  A protector?

I'll build my character to cover whatever we don't have in the party.  So don't worry about party build, just worry about what you want your character to be able to do.

I have a character that I find complex and interesting to play. She will be a female cleric rouge that uses and wields daggers and a 2 handed spear. She will be chaotic neutral with some hidden quicks/mechanics that the GM will know but the other players will find out. For the cleric power I will choose to follow the path of neutrality letting the gmail know what I channel and what orisons I get. The rough is used to flavor the back story and give me access to lots of skills. To sum up my characters core will be a skill monkey support that can hold their own in a fight. If they get a sneak attack off it will be lethal though.

Hah.  Calastel and I made her character together tonight, and those are the weapons she's going to use as well.

She'll be playing a bard (dervish dancer) and fighter.  In combat, she's primarily a melee unit.  Outside combat, she'll have plenty of physical/mobility skills and some cultural ones as well.

Will your cleric be primarily melee or ranged?  I'll build for whatever we need.

As a side note, I anticipate a level 3 start, with 30 ability point buy.  It's only going to be the three of us, so we're going to need to cover all the bases of a standard party.

A bit of metagame info: in order to allow battles that have high numbers of combatants, I may use the Minion mechanic.  Minions typically have roughly half the damage output of an equivalent non-Minion enemy, and typically have about half the HP.  However, their defenses are just as high as a standard enemy, and they often have debuffing abilities, so they still can be dangerous in high numbers or supporting standard enemies.

I also want to throw this out there.  If there are neat combos you want to take, or abilities that don't *quite* mesh together, just let me know, and we can try to work something out.

For instance, if I wind up playing a melee character, I may play a monk (who can't technically use shields), with the Shield spell.  I'll likely take the Saving Shield feat, for use when I have the spell in effect only.  Technically, that doesn't work.  But it's cool, and it will help me fill a specific role (tank) in the party.

My character if I can feat it correctly will be a spear cleric that will prevent enemy movement and stuff then the cleric will blast with line attacks and channel energy. Ooc the character will have a few charismatic stuff and knowledge of a few key things but will help when called upon
