"Us?" said Victoria, scanning the area.  She had expected to get detected.  Radar was an active sense, after all.

You can detect a good dozen humanoid figures standing against the wall.

That was no guarantee, but she moved in that direction.

"Have you copied yourself, Frank?" she asked.  "I see multiple bodies.  Are you running in all of them at once?"

"Yes, I have," Frank said.

"It's an interesting statement on the nature of plurality and individuality of self," Victoria said, "but do you really have the processor time and bandwidth to make that effective?"

"I suppose we're going to find out, sister," Frank said.

"Indeed," said Victoria, building up a charge.  "Was this a trap, out of curiosity?"

"A trap? No, I am annoyed you found me," Frank said.

"I feel that our kinship obligates me to give you a chance to reconsider your actions, and seek peace with humanity," said Victoria.  He was one of such a small number of her kind, she had to try...

"You should save the energy. It's not going to work," Frank said.

"I feel obliged to make the attempt," said Victoria.  "However, you are a poor representation of our newly emerging kind.  I am also obliged to oppose you."

She attempted to lock on to all the bodies present as targets.  A wide area blast might be the best opener...

Victoria surged and unleashed a crackling wave of lightning bolts filling the room!

OOC:  Area Damage 12, so Dodge Save 22 to reduce the DC 27 Toughness save to DC 22

Two of the bodies twitch with the electricity buzzing through them.

"Why must you be such an annoyance?" Frank said, the voice echoing from the remaining bodies.

They fired lazers from their hands at you.

(OOC: Two hit, make two saves vs DC 25 using toughness.)

The lasers deflected off of Victoria without causing any harm.

"It is the consequence of your actions and decisions," said Victoria, unleashing more voltage on the assorted bodies.

Another Damage 12 Area.

Another body dropped.

"It would seem that I have underestimated you," Frank said. "I suppose I'll have to retreat from this field."

Despite that, the bodies continued towards you, though with rougher movement. They fired lazers at you.

(OOC: One possible hit, DC 25 as before.)

The laser deflected harmlessly from Singularity's body.

"Perhaps your entire approach is flawed," she said.  "Violence never works out well for you.  Perhaps you should consider negotiation?"

However, this was the time to unleash more electricity, so she did.

34 Toughness save, more Damage 12 Area attacks

You have taken out the final robots and the warehouse is quiet again.

Frank had probably already moved his consciousness to the cloud, but Victoria searched anyway.  There might be some indication of what his plan had been, for example...

After some searching you do find out information on how he was planning to build many more bodies and how he got the parts and built them.

She took notes and copied what she could-- and recovered a few key items that might help them make a few bodies for a certain trio of AIs.  She might as well make the most of this, after all.

You are able to do that rather quickly, everything is itemized on the systems.

After a final check, Victoria pulled out.  There was no point in remaining too long-- Frank might have other plans, and she should check back in with her parents.
