The warehouse in question was in a bit of disrepair, but looked to be in better condition that several that surrounded it. This late at night, everything was quiet.

Scanning with radar, Victoria approached cautiously, looking for a window she could peer in through.

You radar picks up that there was a massive area underneath the warehouse. There is a window and inside you can see several metal shelves with identical looking boxes on them. No sign of life.

No help for it-- she went in through a window, not trusting the doors.

You don't have any trouble getting inside and it is quiet.

Too quiet!  She went looking for an entry to the basement.

Investigation 17

You find a hatch in the floor rather quickly. It is rather large as well a good nine feet by nine feet.

That was no problem-- Victoria was easily strong enough to lift it, if necessary. She checked to see if there was some kind of control box for it, though.

There is a control box on the wall behind you with a few switches.

Victoria investigated.  It shouldn't be too hard to work out.

The fourth switch is the only one that seems to do anything and it opened the hatch.

Well, that would do.  She went down the hatch cautiously, scanning with radar as she went.

"Glad you could join us," a voice said from the dark.
