Both activities take about a week, carousing is a Persuasion check and some gp to create contacts/allies as your character revel and have a general good time.
Gambling is a wager where you can gain or lose ten gold and up. It requires three skill checks. You can use you dice proficiency or a: Wisdom (Insight),
Charisma (Deception), and Charisma (Intimidation). If you pass all three checks you Double your money, two passes and you get one and a half Return, one pass you lose half, no passes and you lose the money you wagered. The difficulty check,DC, is 5 plus 2d10.
