I have gathered you all here today because I believe we all have something to gain. Sugar? A party of adventures has gone missing in Dreadwood. They were going to clear out a ruin, that was a week ago. Cream?

The halfling was a Blur of motion. Bobbing and weaving through his store. Delivering candied nuts and refilling anyone's tea that got too low or cold. He did everything left handed, when he finally settled down it became apparent why. The right sleeve of his red tunic was empty.  The strange dance from a missing right foot, his rich purple pantaloons obstructing a maybe wooden peg leg judging from the sound. He rubs his chin and he flashes a brilliant smile.

You know of Kerowyn Hucrele? The potion queen? She's financing a rescue. Her children Talgen Hucrele and Sharwyn Hucrele, were part of that missing party. Deliver their family signet rings to me and you each get one hundred and fifty gold, deliver the two adventures safely back, three hundred each!

He drums his left hand on his display case by tapping his left palm and pinky then quickly rotating to rap with his thumb and back again. Clearly proud of himself.

You take the job, do it right, Kerowyn's a hell of a friend to have. Here take these potions and anything you see in my shop you might need.

Various weapons and armor are on display, so too are various tools and supplies. A few bear traps are mounted on the wall.

gain three potions of healing, one alchemists fire, and each party member can choose An amour, weapon or adventuring gear that is 50gp or less

"Thank you very much Shopkeeper."
Jack grabs the potions and put it on his backpack. "Man, what luck that I've found my own crew in the short time I arrive here and I didn't even have to do anything."

"But where are my manners, my name is Captain Jack Ravings and may I know who I'm working with."

OOC: Do we get a potion each or just these 4?

just the four, depending on need is usually the best way to divide up health potions. Who's likely to use them, who can potentially give them if someone falls.

Gallo looks over at Jack. They had all been summoned so quickly it was true. Time for introductions wasn't a thing they had had.

"My name is Gallo. A servant of the Tower of Galdefax. This crisis is just the kind of reason I've set out."

He helps himself to a small sack and a few handfuls of iron and silver powder. Mixing them in the pouch. "This might come in quite handy," he says, thanking the halfling.

"Tower of Galdefax? Hmm, never heard of such a place but if saving people is your job then you would make a fine crew mate."

"I am Braddoch, of Clan Min'Mir," he said to the gathered. "I'll take one of those potions, if you don't mind, Jack."

Turning his attention back to the halfling, he asked, "Can I get one of the bear traps, Winston?" he asked. "How much would it set me back?"

"Sure thing, it's only fair for the captain to share his loot with his crew. Why in fact, I'll leave one more potion of healing for one of you to take. I'll be keeping the last one and the alchemist fire."
Jack gives Braddoch one potion and leaves another on the table.

Braddoch raises an eyebrow, but says nothing. Taking the potion, he tucks it away, and sits back to enjoy his tea.

"You wouldn't know a man by the name of Alfrid, would you?" he suddenly asks Jack.

"Alfrid, hmm, never know a guy by that name. He a friend of your mate."
Jack puts a bit too much sugar on his tea.

Gallo listens to the two converse. He takes a glance at the potion sitting on the table but decides to leave it there for another to pick up.

He adjusts his shield and twirls his trident while he waits.

"An acquaintance, but it is of no matter," Braddoch said.

Turning his attention back to Winston, he asked, "Is there anymore information you can provide us about those who went missing, or anything about the specific surrounds that might be helpful?"

Whisper sizes up the small group of adventurers with a trained eye and judges them all to be competent. Secondly, if they weren't trustworthy, Winston would've never contracted them, so she was quickly put mostly at ease with the newcomers. Besides, some of them had the look - and smell - of locals, even if she didn't know them directly. Any problems she had with them would stem only from problems they had with her and her past.

She tours the shop silently, grabbing a set of Studded Leather. Quickly, she strips her own off, leaning her shortbow and quiver up against the shelf, and doing most of the undressing underneath her cloak. She tosses her old Leathers on the counter for Winston to clean and resell. "Take what you need, leave what you don't." she thought, remembering the old motto she'd learned somewhere along the way. It wasn't an even trade, but a necessary one. She dons the studded set - which seemed to be cut perfectly for her - and wondered with a smile if it'd been some sort of gift from her old mentor...

The potion remaining on the table disappeared in the blink of an eye as she passed by the table. She wouldn't need it - Shaselas willing - but better to have and not need, than need and not have. And, if someone else needed it, she could be in a good position to get it to them.

She listened as the others introduced themselves and spoke to Winston. None had addressed her, yet, and she preferred going unnoticed anyway. When the human she guessed to be a ranger asked for more information, she leaned back against a wall shelf and crossed her arms, waiting for Winston's response.
