Since your blossoming last month you've noticed one thing that Problems seem to be brewing in the town you cannot tell why... it was an almost idyllic community for so long.

Seating in a bus to return home, Lucy scrolled on her phone, reading the latest news. Since sometimes ago, the normally little city has a increasing numbers of problems, ranging from gang violence (who were remarkably civil before) to murder and weird accidents. The young woman could shake the feeling that something was really off.

Since the incident a month ago her dreams were strange, often flashs of a life in a beautiful place or big battle who ended with her death in a massif palace, but sometimes they showed the present city invaded by a dark mist with a cold and cruel laugh.

With a sigh she closed her phone and looked at the street by the windows. Lucy wished know what happened to her and the city.

She makes it back home without incident thankfully.

Arriving back home, Lucy was welcome by her little sister, Rose. The fourteen year old girl was, as always, a ball of excitement, gushing about the news of her school. The two sister couldn't be more different, where Lucy was calm, focused and physically adept, Rose was excitable, foolish and a social butterfly, but they loved each other deeply.

Since they're parents were not at home, their mother was a evening news anchor and their father was a technician for the same channel, Lucy began to prepare the diner for her sister and herself. As the older girl cooked, the younger was installed at the table trying to do her homework and simulating talking about the latest crush of one of her friend.

After diner the two girl played a game together on the console before going to sleep. Well just for Rose, Lucy had other plans. Taking her latest addition to her library, she began to read some ancient myth, hoping to find a clue about what she was. One of the only lead she has was Aztallan, a name she heard frequently in her dreams. But the name referred only to a town in the Wisconsin.

When the clock stroked midnight, Lucy rose from her bed and discreetly dressed herself with dark cloths. Quietly she left the house and toke a bus for the poor district. Even if she didn't find another of these creatures tonight, several drug dealer would do it.

After ten minutes of travel, she get off the bus and hid in a dark alley. She took her pendant around her neck in her hand and focused herself.

but after a bit she notices a shambling creature seeming to sniff her then rush at her in a attack.

Marching through the desert street, Lucy keep close too the shadows. For half an hour she didn't meet anyone.

But finally she noticed something on a poorly lit street. Approaching carefully with her sword in hand, Lucy tried to discern the figure, it movement where strange and the young princess had the impression that is not human. She froze when the figure turned toward her and began to approach. It finally passed under a sreet lamp, reveling it forms. Lucy was not sure how to describe the thing, but it was clearly not human and the princess knew that was a enemy.

The creature stopped and sniffed the air, then with a low growl, rushed in direction of Lucy who answered by taking a combat stance. (Initiative: 13)

the Creatures sluggish she can make an attack first without problem.

Waiting the creature to be in range, Lucy watched her attacker. Its movement were slow and easily predictable but the young warrior was not to dismiss the treat of the thing, maybe it was super-strong or some lethal magic infused its claws.

When it was in range, Lucy attacked with a cleaving aimed at its torso.

(Melee attack using the sword and fighting fitness 3 successes = 6 lethal damage)
(For the next attack I use Defensive Combat so a Defense of 9)

The blow of Lucy gave a large cut in the torso of her opponent, but what it lacked in speed he made up in resistant. The creature growled and tried no bit the princess but she intercepted the blow with her forearm, the mouth of the creature closed on around it but didn't cause that much of damage.

Taking advantage, Lucy launched a second attack, this time a thrusting her sword in heart (or were she assumed where the hearth) of the monster.

(Melee attack using the sword and fighting fitness 1 success = 4 lethal damage)
(For the next attack I use Defensive Combat so a Defense of 9)

(Ouch!!! No I didn't... So you take merely a single bashing... from the shock of its attack)

The sword pierced the creature who give out a pained howl before rapidly desiccates and fall into dust. Lucy closed her eyes and breathed out. She gave her forearm a glance, the armored armband had resisted the bite but was folded, the young woman knew she would have a bruise tomorrow. She would have to go to the house of healing... Lucy froze, from where this last thought came? Since her first transformation the had often strange thoughts like that, particularly in her transformed state.

With a sigh she sheathed her sword and continued her night patrol. She was doing that for two reason, the first was to put down these monsters before they hurt someone (and stop mundane crime if need), the second was that she hopped to meet another person like her who could lift the confusion she felt about the entire situation.

(And I have forgot, since Lucy have interacted with her sister in the evening she gain wisp no? Four Wisp since I have Circle at two)

(You need to spend at least an  hour with the person to roll Circle for Wisps Also note the Running on Fumes Condition.

You get it whenever your Wisps get down to 10-Belief)

(I didn't use wisp so I am still at 7/10 and I am at 7 Belief. I was not sure when you are eligible for Circle, an evening last at minimum 1 hour but I let that at your appreciation)

She finds no other monsters tonight.

Lucy patrolled for three more hours without a sign of any monsters, or anyone for that mater. The increasing amount of strange things happenings in the city drived everyone to stay at home in the night.

She made her way back to her home and stealthily returned in her warn bed. Happily she didn't have anything later in the morning, one of the advantage to studies online, and could sleep until late.

She can look into her condition online.

Lucy woke up late in the morning and began her day. Her parents who worked late the night were present but her sister was already at school. Since she had her powers she patrolled every two nights and her parents had remarked her new wake up schedule. Lucy pretended chatting with a Japanese kendoka about martial arts and the lag explained the odd time.

After the little breakfast, Lucy returned in her room and worked on her class until the lunch. After that she began a new her search of answer for her strange power. Since searching super-power and monster a little to broad, the only true lead was the word Aztallan that she heard in the strange dreams she had.

(Hello, I was a busy this week end so I could post but I am back now)

Lucy watched the screen of her computer before her, deep in though. Finally she discovered answers to her questions. The word Aztallan had guided her to web site and from here she found other sites.

She was a Noble, a person who had a powerful connection to a mysterious force called the Light, and can reincarnate upon death. Long ago, the Nobles have created several kingdoms until the servants of the Darkness, the opposite of the Light, destroyed them. The souls of the Nobles were trapped in a place called Dreamlands and had only recently broke free and begun to reincarnate.

Honestly the story was outlandish and Lucy would have dismissed it as a nice piece of fiction if it didn't fit so well what was happening to her. That and the story resonated with something deep inside Lucy, probably the part who remembered her past lives. The comment about brainwashing was interesting but Lucy could tell that anyone with Sensitivity couldn't stand to do nothing, no matter their age.

But what shocked her to the core was the nature of the monsters she killed. They were humans once and were twisted by the Darkness. She killed humans being.

(I was thinking to make a Sensitivity roll and hope to gain one Shadows to have the Girl Underground condition and go to the Dreamlands, that okay with you?)

(Fine with me, an on vacation with parents can only make brief messages on tablet next week  or so)

(Second busy week and I had my family for the week end, I hoped I could post but that didn't work, but now I am back. I aced the Sensivity roll so no Shadow for me, damn). failed (no successes)

Lucy was deeply disturbed by what she has done but the more she read about the Darkspawn the more her mind calmed and she remembered the student of the dojo who was killed by one of these creature. Maybe they were humans once but now they were no more than zombies.

Finally she contacted one of the manager of the site to present herself and create a account. When she go to bed her mind was at peace with she answer she had and a renewed faith in her purpose, fight the Darkness and, more importantly, help peoples.

(So how do you want to move the game now? Try a dive in the Dreamlands or meet with Amy? Or other? I will be more free this week. And I have resolved my confused condition no?)

The morning Lucy thank the manager for her reply and begin her day. Now that she has more information she can try to make things better. Apparently the Darkspawn are concentrated near tainted places, where bad thing happened, she could try to discovers some and focus her patrol near bye.

She decide to not do any course today and concentrate on her royal duty. Lucy began by reading the new to see if anything could betray the presence of a Darkspawn (disappearance, murder or other) then she skip to researching areas that could have tainted places.

Lucy had a mission now and it was to resolve two disappearances. First she needed all she could have on the case, if the victims were young women she could try to be a bait.

(Want to conduct an investigation. As of yet she knows they both happened same night without a trace the person just vanished but some people are reported as having heard screams.

It was early afternoon when Lucy arrived in the neighborhood where the disappearances happened. The young princess wanted to take a look to the place to see if something could point in the direction of the culprit, then patrol during the night. She had said to her parents she was at the dojo and would have a sleepover with several friends to explain her absent in the night.

The darkspawns were physically warped and need hidden place to escape attention, so the first thing Lucy wanted to visit was the abandoned place and try to see if one of them was recently used.

(I think it's Wits+Investigation no?)
