the price in wisps is not cheap and goes up if she cant transfer the wisps herself.

They don't do open ended contracts.

Dawn reads over the Light Company's Web site and wonders what it would cost to get the Light Company to train her.  It really doesn't matter.  She has no cash and has no idea how to get wisps.

And the forums where I may find other local Hopeful?

Lets just say... their are reasons why You shouldn't advertise too broadly theirs royals to be found in your hometown their are those who hunt us.

Dawn registers for the forums and puts up a post.

Dawn sends e-mail, then.

shes asked a bunch of standard questions


Then told she'll be told when other hopeful nearbye are found... in meantime try to do her work safely.

Dawn answers the questions as best she can.

Dawn also wonders how one goes about fighting the forces of darkness safely.  In the meantime, since she doesn't have more clues or more ideas, Dawn goes back to her normal life.  She does spend some time reading about the early stages of the quest for the Holy Grail.  It almost seems as though the quest will need to find her.  When you're in school and living at home, going out in a random direction looking for adventures really isn't possible.

She try looking into the disappearing people that night? Transformed or mundane form?

Dawn will try to sneak out and look for the missing people that night.  Sneaking out of the house has to be done in her mundane form.  Once she gets near where they were last seen, Dawn will try to transform and look in that form.

she doesn't find them but... she finds something...

4 Monsters the one that seems in charge also seems a trifle frail for some reason but still dangerous enough in its own way.

4 monsters?

Observe a moment.  Does she think she can win a fight with them? 4's a lot of monsters.

If Dawn thinks she'll lose a fight with them, she'll get out of there and call the police, reporting 4 very suspicious-looking people.

she might be able to and it looks like their a danger to anyone they encounter...

Charge!

Dawn will try to keep 1 monster alive if she can.  She has a few questions she'd like answered.

It might seem doubtful they have the faculties to answer questions She can tell one thing this is all one creature and its spawn.

A Darkspawn gasps as the Sword Intercepts its  thigh... the other 3 notice her immediately.
and try clawing at her.  first misses but the the rest of the attacks become harder and harder to evade... (altogether 3 bashing)

Those claws hurt, but Dawn keeps fighting.  She seems to be getting better at it.

the other 2 attack you but only do one damage between them your armor serves you well...

Dawn is very grateful for her armor.  The monsters can't die fast enough to suit her.  She swings at one of the two monsters left...

It also collapses to dust, last one there trys fleeing... hunt it down or try seeing where it trys running too?

Dawn chooses to give chase, to see where the last monster flees to.  There might be a den of such monsters, or there might be a portal.  It's worth finding out, either way.

It hard to follow... but shes able to find it flees to just over some houses storm shelter...


Then it vanishes.

Dawn decides to investigate that spot over the storm shelter.  It may be a portal of some kind.  Once she's learned as much as she can, she'll go home and try to look these specific monsters and the details of the spot up on the Internet.
