Re: OOC
This time it was just me trying to figure out what to post.
Just to give a couple of examples.
Now that Cailin is at the Citadel, I have a broad strokes knowledge of what is going to happen, but I don't know the details. And then we add Cailin's choices to that as those are completely under your control.
The second example is Thomas. When I created him he was supposed to be a one scene NPC. Give the warning and fade away from the story. An element, like the Hunter, showing that the main NPCs don't know everything. Adding some mystery to the world.
And then Abe decides to have a sister that also is a student at Croatan, which I approved and am totally fine with. And despite my best efforts to keep her away from San Diego, as that's what made sense for her character and what she wants to do with her future, he found a way to bring her home. And I thought it might be interesting to see what happened if Thomas accompanied her. Nothing would have been an acceptable result as the story is driven by you and your characters, but that's not what happened.
It's cool to see where this collaborative story takes us.
