CHARACTER CREATION (READ THIRD)
Non-Playable Species/Characters
There are certain characters and species that will not be playable, mostly to keep characters from wrecking the power level or destroying galaxies with a thought (*cough* Archangels *cough*)...

More may be added to this list, in time, if the need arises or I simply find more that need to be added.

Some will simply not be allowed, because we know little to nothing about them, so far. As a general rule, characters from the source material will be non-playable. Any creature that cannot appear as human will not be counted among the playable species (although this particular rule may be dismissed if the character concept interests me enough, and if the creature is able to hide well from humans).

----------------------------------------

1. God, capital G (Abrahamic God / The White God). For obvious reasons.

2. gods, little g

3. Archangels

4. Dragons, capital D.

5. Faerie Mothers, Queens, Ladies and Kings

6. Skinwalkers

7. Outsiders

8. Higher tier Denarians (those on or around Nicodemus' level)

9. Higher tier Wyldfae

10. Jade Court Vampires (we don't know enough yet)

11. Angels (don't know much about general angels)

12. Nephilim (don't know enough, likely extinct or simply too well hidden)

13. White Council Senior Council members

14. (anything else I choose to add)

Playable Species
Before deciding on a species and character concept, please take a look at the Casting Call down below.

While this section will list several species that are playable, please keep in mind that there are more options out there. Anything from the series that is not terribly OP, I will consider. If you're iffy on whether a species is allowed, or not, feel free to discuss it with me in pm.

----------------------------------------

1. Humans

2. Wizards, Sorcerers, etc. (https://dresdenfiles.fandom.com/wiki/Practitioner)

3. Vampires, any Court. However, White Court vamps will be required to get consent before any sexual advances occur, or the character/player will be banned from the game and reported to the administrators. Unwanted sexual advances/acts are strictly forbidden, by RPoL's rules, as well as my own, and will not be tolerated. (https://dresdenfiles.fandom.com/wiki/Vampire)

4. Fae (Summer, Winter or Wyld) (https://dresdenfiles.fandom.com/wiki/Faerie_(creatures))

5. Scions (half human half something else- Cambions and Changelings included) (https://dresdenfiles.fandom.com/wiki/Scion)

6. Classic Werewolves (https://dresdenfiles.fandom.com/wiki/Werewolf) and Hexenwolves (https://dresdenfiles.fandom.com/wiki/Hexenwolf)

7. Loup Garou (will only be accepting one, due to their rarity) (https://dresdenfiles.fandom.com/wiki/Loup-garou)

8. Lower tier Denarians (https://dresdenfiles.fandom.co...e_Blackened_Denarius)

9. Sidhe Knight- Summer and Winter are up for grabs (https://dresdenfiles.fandom.com/wiki/Sidhe_Knight)

10. Anything not currently on the Non-Playable list is fair game, but please use restraint and common sense. If presented with a creature that seems obviously overpowered, it will be added to that list and the character concept rejected.

Casting Call!!!!!

GM Requests

We (the GMs) are currently looking for characters who would like to fill the following positions:

1. Would love to have some characters linked to the NYPD, whether they are detectives, friends of officers or possibly consultants for the force. Species is up for discussion. They can be human or some kind of supernatural creature, as long as they can pass for human.

2. Wizards and Wardens of the White Council! As the general focus of the Dresdenverse (Harry at least, anyways), I would love to have some Wizards join the game! Senior Council and the Blackstaff are off limits, of course, but other members of the Council are welcome. :)

3. Knights of the Cross are welcome! Two blades are up for grabs. While the Knights in the books are primarily male, we will be accepting female Knights as well! Amoracchius has been claimed, but the other two blades are still up for grabs.

4. Members of the Summer and Winter Courts! We do have a few fae characters, but we could use some more diversity among the cast! Wyldfae are welcome, as well.

5. Humans who are unaware of the supernatural world, or humans who know it quite well. While the supernatural are the general focus of the game, humans are much more common than monsters or practitioners in New York City. We could certainly use some characters who aren't linked into the supernatural community and will be discovering it for the first time in-game, but we are open to accepting humans who are clued into the supernatural world as well.

6. Anything else! We'd love some more diversity among the cast. :D

While we would like for someone to fill these positions, no one is required to do so! Feel free to come up with your own concept. These are simply general positions that we would like filled, to have a more comprehensive and diverse cast. More may be added to this list in time, as the game goes on, if I notice that we are lacking in important character roles. And, of course, if you have any really off the wall ideas, I would recommend discussing them with us in a Request Access thread, before drawing up a concept, so we can green-light it!

Player Requests

These requests have been put forth by our players:

(None, at the moment. Will be edited to include player requests, in the future.)
