Re: OOC III

Thanks. Makes me glad I didn't rush it. I knew something fitting would come to me eventually.

Re: OOC III

I love this Epilogue already, too :D  I started off sad about a little orc girl freezing to death, then I realized who she was, then where she was!!  Sorry I haven't gotten a post in yet, I'm just getting back from a 5-day trip, but am looking forward to writing for this :)

Re: OOC III

I don't want to make any assumptions for others, but to help clarify my own post I wonder:

1. Is everyone going to the wedding (Sikuaq has an excuse, but the rest of you better be there)?

2. How long after the adventure are the nuptials?

3. And most importantly, for those of you in Knutsdir/Lawton's Glen: Does anyone want to carpool?

Fergus Glowforge:
2. How long after the adventure are the nuptials?

I feel like this would be maybe two-three years later?  This event would take a lot of travel, alliance-building, and planning, plus gathering everyone in such a distant location would be a feat!  I don't think all that could have happened overnight.  Having some decent passage of time could be nice for story to touch on what we've all been up to in the aftermath, and make for a nice reunion.  What do y'all think?

Re: OOC III

That makes perfect sense, Opi. And creates an opportunity to recap what has been going on for all of us for more than a just few weeks or months since our final showdown on the mountain.

Caell, you can ride with us, but I call shotgun :)

I wasn't sure if it was alright but I was just trying to establish where Cora is without stepping on the centrepiece too much. Hope assuming I could interfere in the kitchen was alright?

A couple of us are starting discussions about our characters in the other game. I hope all of you will join us there.

Re: OOC III

I've RTJ'd. Haven't added anything more to the discussion because I'm still partial to the two character concepts I posted here. Waiting to see how the group shakes out before I lean one way or the other.

I've been trying to find the time and headspace to come back to the epilogue also, but with March break and three kids running around the house I'm a bit frazzled.

Re: OOC III

I'm concerned because I leaned towards the much more communist union organizer guy but I don't want to be causing friction with anyone (especially not the actual kobold cop in the party)

Friction is fun! I'm sure there'll some plot to encourage characters to work together towards some common goal in spite of their initial differences.

But I figured even if Arvid had fallen on his face it would make for a good scene.

At his monk level Arv can just walk up vertical surfaces if he wants to, but Opi and the Skykeepers appreciate that he climbed up the old fashioned way ;D

Re: OOC III

I think Arvid's post could work nicely as a finale, but if Opalia wants to respond or if anyone wants to post anything, feel free to keep it going - I just don't want to close this game out on the words of an NPC, with a post of my own.

Thanks for such a great and long running experience!

Re: OOC III

I tweaked Fergus's earlier Epilogue post to add a few final details that I wanted to get in. With that, I am happy.

I did make two bold assumptions that border on my taking over your characters, however, so please let me know if either of these go against your wishes and I will adjust my post accordingly.
1. Hopefully nobody will mind if I assume that Cora, Farra, Caell, and Keth would all lend a hand for the aging Fergus to make it from Knutsdir to the ceremony.
2. Opalia, I hope it's okay that you still call Fergus "Firebeard" even though his beard is entirely silver now.

Great game everyone!!!
