Doh! Completely forgot about it. It would have canceled the speed penalty Houdini suffered... and not much else. A paralyzed Pokémon won't act if the last digit of the initiative question is a 1 or 2. Even then, the real problem in that fight was a pair of low ATT facing better DEF, in part because Houdini increased his by teleporting.

Of course, a few TM will make a great difference for Houdini, and Glumpy's main strength right now is tanking.

Not a problem at all - given Houdini's absolutely pathetic ATT stat, I figured his Tackles would be doing absolutely nothing anyway.  ^^  The fight was a narrative choice for the sake of characterization and to justify Portia suddenly buying a bunch of combat-related TMs (and maybe getting a little extra cash on the side).  Still, just something to keep in mind for the outcome and for Seymour to notice; Glumpy would've become paralyzed as well the moment Houdini did because of his Ability.  Psychic powers be cray.

And once again Mythic throws me a curve ball. I didn't think there was a beach in Rivierstel. Mythic told me otherwise, and insisted there were Pokémons to catch there too.

I can only wonder if it will throw us something else at the restaurant.

Is everything okay with Evelyn?  She hasn't been online in a while and this whole scene was set for her character in the first place.  Is she just busy with holiday stuff or have you heard from her lately?

I don't know. I haven't heard from her for a while. I sent a PM, and I'll see if there's an answer. If not, I'll probably have her character split up from the party when you leave the city.

Just a clarifying question or two: All characters are getting the +1 rank to a stat? And I am assuming we can't go above exceptional (not that I am planning on it with Jake, he needs to fix his lower stats a bit.)

Considering you're the only one with an Exceptional stat, I don't think limiting attribute increase is necessary.

Cool, I might do that eventually. How else am I going to with the Cadien marathon. Wait, does Cadien even HAVE marathons? XD
