Re: If it's gotta be said OCC...
Ok, so I think I have sewn some confusion. I love game rules, at the table, but play by post often needs simplification. So.....
Use you weapons/combat skills at their listed values, I will tell you if it is a hard, very, or nigh impossible attack. This means modifying skills using a percentage of your skill for each difficulty level.
normal = 100%
hard = 75%
very hard = 50%
nigh impossible = 25%
so a hard shot with a rifle for a firer with a CRM of 60 would be an effective 45 skill.
right now you all are facing hard shots do a combination of poor visibility, enemy movement, range, stress, fear, discomfort, and pressure from the enemy.
To fire an aimed shot means one shot on one target only for an action, but it will be at normal skill. you still need to be able to see the target, i.e. night vision at night, a scope for long range shooting, rangefinding for very long range shooting, and so on.
For each shot fired you use of around three bullets, each shot needs a separate die roll to hit, and you can fire on different targets within range.
Sound workable? Open to your comments.
There is a new map, it shows everyone's position as I saw it in my head by the posts. If it is way off let me know, otherwise roll with it. The new grids are 150m by 150m and hopefully give you an idea to to what the enemy is doing. The red triangle is the T62M, the red dots are the enemy grunts, the green dot is the lat sighting of the wounded officer. this is what is immediately observable.
