Re: If it's gotta be said OCC...
There were quite a few small arms on the battlefield. As I recall, ROger made a point to collect the Hecate sniper rifle, Torv's gear that was used during the mission, and the two rifles the Spetznas were using; a Remington 40X 6mm BR with a high end 24x scope and a Ruger All Weather in .338 Win Mag.
I know that the group gathered an number of small arms, ammunition, and grenades from the dead poles.
There was the officer's belt pistol, a S&W .357 magnum revolver I believe.
You could lay claim to the DShK if you guys want it. You took it and turned it on it previous owners. No one would dispute that. And it could be mounted on the team vehicle, you guys agreed on a Commando armored car didn't you. I'll have to go back check that out.
There are some reloads for the Carl Gustav. Not a lot, but some. I posted about it earlier. Ammunition for common calibers, grenades, and batteries.
There is a small collection of ordance; 12 claymores, ten pounds of C4, detonators, demolitions tool kits, and a spool of det cord (40 meters) left over from when Wolfbane was attempting to reclaim the stuff.
You will be inserted on a beach, drive in on your own route, and try to not draw attention if possible. But, if shit gets real you can call on fire support from a pair of Cobra gunships that will be kept ready to back you up. One will have the usual mix of rockets and ATGMs while the other will be armed with rocket artillery pods only. The naval guns are being prioritized to the main battle group pushing out against the Polish Tanks. Med-evac, resupply, prisoner recovery and emergency retrieval are also available via a dedicated Huey UH1.
The mission of named Ground Hugger, the team will be known as Hugger element, with the offical lead of the group being Lieutenant Brian Sanderson. Sanderson was KIA two days ago and the actual leadership of the team will fall upon the team.
