In the late 1990's a strange new star appeared in the night sky. Astrological knowledge couldn't explain it. For two months this star seemed to circle the earth. People thought it was the end of the world, they were wrong it was the beginning. When the strange star finished its rotation it seemingly exploded seeding the world with a strange new radiation.

Soon all over Earth things began happening, cryptids began being seen more frequently and even getting truly caught on camera, holy-men began performing true miracles, a small number of children started exhibiting mutations of all sorts. Magic had returned to the world it seemed. Governments sought to control and learn all they could about this situation raising many children as wards of the state and preforming ghastly experiments to learn how to control the mutations. Technology began advancing quickly from their research and certain mentally gifted mutants. Now in the year 2022 the star returned preformed its two month orbit and once again exploded. Two things happened first the mutations g
