All characters in the game are pregenerated, using Book 1.  None of the pregenerated characters have names, genders, or home worlds, and cascade skills have not been finalised (ie: they would be listed as, for example, Gun Combat-2, leaving the type of gun up to the player).  Any weapon skill, of whatever level, grants an appropriate weapon.

The ship, technically, has a crew of four: Pilot, Navigator, Engineer, Steward/Medic.  In addition, however, two Gunners have recently been hired (requiring dual occupancy for two of the crew cabins).  The Gunners handle security when the ship is in port.

Send an RtJ saying which crew slot you are interested in.  If that slot is available I'll send you the list of characters to select from.  Then you just need to provide a name, gender, home world, and specify the cascade skills.

Also select three skills from the following list.  These will be level-0 skills (ie: just enough to remove the penalty for not having the skill).  They are not cumulative, so don't select skills that you already have.
