Marie Arceneaux:
So...what kind of floor does the tub room have? Simple planks?

Yup. 1½ inch thick, hammered on cross beams, simple and doable with the wood they have surrounding the village.
However, not tightly done so and hence allowing noise and creaks to appear.

Re: OoC - Out of Character Thread

Are there official rules for breaking walls, or doors, or anything like that?

Re: OoC - Out of Character Thread

I could not locate any rules. So its all in the approach.
Say you use a weapon, it is WS and striking against an immobile surface, success meaning you hit it well enough to make a dent etc.
If not, strength or similar may be used, but yeah - I would argue that detailing what you wish to do or rather how to approach it would make it easier to designate a path for it.

Re: OoC - Out of Character Thread

From a common sense perspective... I'd recommend NOT doing that with a sword. I can lend you an axe if that's the play we want to go through with. Smidge less likely to dull or damage the edge. ;)

I also left my axe on the side of the tub.

Let me know if I can do anything to forward the the scene. I sense that maybe you are unsure, and have no issue progressing various things if it aids the game.

Re: OoC - Out of Character Thread

Mostly on our side... I think we're kind of exiting the bathing area with the intention of closing ranks. Kinda just leaving room for what chaos we're stepping into if any?

Gille is just at unease in the common room below, looking for anything suspicious yet totally oblivious of the things unfolding above his head.

Sorry, I got the last ST post but had no intention of acting at the moment.  I should have posted that so people weren't waiting on me.

K on my side ready to turn in for the night, don't have a reason IC to go check on the ladies (since reasoned gille's warning to be a false positive) except if the route to his room takes him near it.

No worries - once there is a clear declaration of intent, from anyone, I will act on it.

Re: OoC - Out of Character Thread

I'm assuming there's nothing else that stands out as weird where Marie, Etain, and I are beyond the utter absence of things like... guards or watchmen in a trade post that while in the shadow of a dwarf hold... probably still has good reason to be concerned about any stupid lumbering beast that's got more guts then sense?

Re: OoC - Out of Character Thread

A little clarification on geography might do us good here since the Bath-house was separate, yes?

Re: OoC - Out of Character Thread

Fair deal.
It is just off the side - right hand down the main road, roughly 50 yards from the townhall. So if you exit out the door, you can see the townhall easily. The inn/tavern, is just across, slightly closer to the gate out. So moving about is easy and quickly done.

As Jareik is inside, the only one doing lonewolf stuff is Arkamir. The rest are assumed gathered.

Quick heads-up: out of town for the weekend camping with my daughter.  Back Sunday night or Monday, probably won't be able to post much/at all.

I'm assuming on our side we found the bath house empty? Sorry if sounds obvious but asking in case is any unexpected surprises to be found.
