Re: Altdorf - Return to grace.
--At the temporary office of the envoy--
As you venture inside past the guards, whom while eyeing you, recall your face and presence enough to wave you in, you are led into the carpeted and warm room. A spicy smell of tea, and plates of fresh bread and fruit stands on a table. The envoy looks up and exposes a broad smile.
"You...returned. I am most pleased, no reason to hide that."
His tone and dialect hinting he refers to Reikspiel when needed rather than as a first choice.
He nods, points and the chest with the coin is placed again before you.
"If you agree, this is yours. If not, do not return, as I will leave in the morning for a city with more potential. Further, the route I advised remains.
From Flottenliegeplatz - Altdorf to Nuln, restock, head via Wissenland to the Peak Pass in Karak Kadrin, and a wagon from there. I have found a quick ship, with an experienced crew, strong guards, entertainment and a cook on board. Look for "Fließbolzen" and captain Mehrhamm. The papers will be ready shortly. I will have a man ready near the Reiksport early morning.
Spend the rest of the day, what remains, sorting your business and tend to your matters at hand if such could interwene. You will not see Altdorf for a long time, given all. Make the most of it. Adventure awaits!"
He claps his hands, joyfully and extends a palm to anyone to seal the deal.
The chest remains and the guards nod at you all.
You are offered to drink the wine, eat and sit if needs be to ensure you are onboard.
Once done so, midday, you let outside, with options to do what you need, 75 gold coins heavier each, and with options to get patched up, restock, get entertainment or what else fills your cup.
(Horses are stabled beneath deck along with extra belongings and will for sake of game be safe and without risk - just to take the question ahead of time!)
If you need to purchase anything, make a note of it yourself and deduct average cost, no need to play it out, unless very curious or hard to get -> If so; go to PM's.
-- Next Morning, South Altdorf; Reiksport --
The morning is heavy, damp and warm, but also causing quite a light fog to procure on the town itself, in particular south of town, near the water.
The area is curious, as you come closer, with a massive town on it's own, filled with shanties and simple storefronts, servicing ships going in and out. Alot of men and women offer aid or are employed already by the city itself - and even early day the area is buzzing with energy. The water is covered in light damp fog making viewing far out hard, but still some light comes through.
You notice, as you enter through a large gate, a southern, dark skinned man, standing with a curved sword, a backpack and eyeing around with attention and a stern grimace. Seeing you, he waves you closer, next to a large vessel, larger than most vessels, with an obvious larger storage room at the bottom, a living area in the middle and top floor for entertainment, dining and a large deck for recreational use. It is a high end ship fit for upper class citizen and is quite the cost and fare, well beyond even middleclass citizen. Who ever payed for this, do not lack coin nor power to sway you onboard.
You notice near the entrance to the ship, done on two levels, for storage and people respectively, a swarm of servants and guards are present. You count ten guards or similar at least. One thing you do not know is who else is onboard, but the ship itself is large enough to warrant privacy regardless.
Waved over, the guard speaks...barely. Handing each of you a small holder with papers in, he points and speaks in broken Reikspiel advising you to get on, and that the ships personal will take care of you. All is handled until Karak Kadrin. Just get on when you can.
He speaks little more, but remains until you are situated.
You learn quickly, that each of you get a room, with a bed, chest with key, lockable door, chair, small table, pen, paper, ink and two bottles of wine. All of these also have a small window allowing you to open and get fresh air or view the water front and side.
There will be meals three times a day, entertainment at night and ability to roam and explore during the daytime. There is a set curfew after sundown for safety reasons.
