I am not actively advertising this game.  It's not a priority.  If we get enough players who stumble in, I might consider doing something with it.  If not... well, no big deal.

To RTJ to this game
Please submit the following:

• A concept for your Rift.  At a bare minimum give me an idea of the Mythos you want to embody or a power-theme that interests you.
• Tell me how experienced you are with narrative-heavy games (Fate, Powered-by-the-Apocalypse, etc.) and City of Mist in particular.
• Confirm that you have access to the Player's Guide or the v1.0 Core book.  Meaning... assure me that you have access to the Themebooks and complete character-creation process.
• Finally, assure me that you're prepared to collaborate on the setting and themes of the game.  This game demands active player involvement.

• Status Filter (PG185) - You can set up ongoing filter effects with the Change the Game move
• Weakness Tags can be used as Flaws (PG209)

Character Creation
Characters can have secrets, players won't.  Character Creation is done openly and transparently, and you are encouraged to peek in on other players' character-creation threads to make suggestions and ask questions.


Thematic Expectations
This game is rated Mature--not Adult.  It will not contain graphic depictions of sex or violence.  I will not countenance depictions of sexual violence.  I expect incoming players to also advise of hard lines they have and want myself and other players to observe.

Dropout Notice
My biggest pet peeve with RPOL is people ghosting--GMs, players and applicants, alike.

However, I am pretty much incapable of maintaining a solid consistent pace.   This game will have some weeks of moderate activity and some absolutely dead quiet weeks.   I have a couple of personal projects that are weather dependent and if the conditions are right, I'll be working the weather, then editing the photos after....  So, don't expect a fast and furious pace; it just won't happen.   I will always give you the heads up if I'm offline for a bit or, worse, if I'm closing it all down.  Please do me the same courtesy.

If you haven't logged in for a long while or have been logging in but not posting--I'll assume that you've lost interest and have ghosted the game.  Do that enough and I'll probably remove you just as silently.
