Geary would enter the transporter room to see Dr. Brenn having a heated argument with the transporter chief that almost threatened to spill into violence.  Upon seeing Geary, Brenn whirled on a heel at him, visibly angry.  "Now you look here!" he roared.  "I demand to let me leave this instant!"

In practiced Trakan, with a bit of pent up anger Deckar drilled out, "Shut the fuck up you pompous ass!"  Then in a calmer but determined tone, he continued,  "I would think you would be more concerned as to what happened out there." he said pointing in some random direction, "And on the station. But when we try to find answers you are reluctant, to the point of being belligerent in answering.  Why is that Doctor?" Not really stopping to let the doctor speak, "And you should be grateful to me for saving your life."

Jason hurried through the ship at a pace just over at trot but quite running. Hopefully he could catch the Takaran before he left. What he didn't expect as he entered the transporter room was that Commander Geary was already there and from the look on both their faces, Jason was pretty sure he should have not come in at that time. He had come to a abrupt and total standstill, freezing up and silent. Just from the look on Jason's face, there was no doubt that he did not want to be there right now... at least not till things had calmed down.

In reply to Decker Geary (msg # 2):

Brenn's already large nostrils flared with contempt at the man who had insulted him and he balled his fists, perhaps considering to strike Geary for the slight.  He tensed for a moment, then relaxed as he caught sight of Jason entering, the additional person throwing the odds decidedly against him.  "I have nothing to say to you," he spat.  "Now I demand you allow me to leave this contemptible vessel."

"Fine!  Then listen for once." Geary used a more commanding tone, "We know the cloaked Birds of Prey were here long before we arrived.  We also know they are from the House Duras." Turning to get a better look at the viewing screen on the wall, Geary continued, "You're so smart, doctor, The prototype in the lab exploded and left FOUR dead.  Only FOUR. What are the chances that the only FOUR who died on the entire station were on the development team?"  He then brought up the imaged of the destruction and carnage of the lab, along with the bodies.  "Also we have since learned that YOUR team probably died before the explosion, they certainly did not die from the radiation from the prototype.  In fact we are not sure what they died from." Looking at DR. Brenn directly, "Your team is being targeted.  Who ever stole the prototype from the freighter, blew up the prototype in the lab, killed YOUR team and is probably waiting to kill you and Ra'Ghul so that no one else can develop the Quantum Torpedo, or at least set the program back years so they have the advantage."  Stepping aside, "So be my guest Doctor, and leave the safety of this ship. Beam back down to the station where the one that killed YOUR team is probably still on the station and take your chances there.  Or you can stay here.  But if you stay here I expect your full cooperation and you will be forthcoming with all the pertinent information that you are holding back."

Jason paled at the Commander's words and shifted himself as far away from the two as he could. He was not going to get in between two... he didn't know what to call it at this point.

"S-sir...? Commander?" he finally spoke timidly. "The CSO, Lt. Cmdr sh'Elliaph wants to discuss the scans they did after the accident. Something about what data was supplied wasn't accurate."

Jason's gaze darted towards the Takaran before back to Geary. At this point he wasn't sure he could get Dr. Brenn anywheres near the labs.

"Well, Commander?" Brenn sneered, his tone dripping with contempt.  "Unless you plan on illegally holding me, I will be leaving."

Short of arresting this buffoon, Geary decided to switch tactics to keep him on the ship. "Hold on one moment, Dr. Brenn, before you leave." Turning to Walker, "Are you saying that Dr. Brenn's data was inaccurate than from the readings that were collected.  that he made a mistake some how?

OOC Playing on Dr. Brenn's ego to get him to stay on the ship.

If Jason could get any paler, he would have but he shrugged helplessly. "Alls I know, sir, is that the test data supplied doesn't match what they found in the explosion. And you know how the CSO is, she's pretty eager and happy to talk science with those that know what they are talking about which included Doctor Brenn," He nodded towards the Takaran and a slight smile appear at saying that.

"She invited the Doctor to the Labs to discuss this with some others. There are others that know more than I do sir. Its far above my head and pay grade," he added, trying to be deferential to the both of them.

Breen opened his mouth as if to roar out something, then clamped his mouth shut and glowered at Jason as if he were some annoying bug.  Finally he said, "There is nothing wrong with my data and I am done dealing with you fools.  Let me leave.  Now."
