"Matheson to Bridge," Cat called up to Malko, who had the conn while Geary was questioning Ra'Ghul.  "We have the tracer module installed and it seems to have found something."

"Excellent work!" Malko replied, happy to be doing something other than waiting.  He looked over at Vanna.  "Lay in a course, Ms. Keyes.  Best possible speed!"

Vanna sets in the course and puts them at maximium warp toward their destination.  A frown falling cross her face as she looks at teh sensor readouts. "They arn't moving sir?"

In reply to Vanna Marie Keyes (msg # 2):

Hearing the uncertainty in Vanna's voice, Malko asked, "They're stationary?  Are you sure?"

Vanna gives a slow nod to Aurin. "According to our sensors we should overtake them shortly, it doesn't make any sense."

In reply to Vanna Marie Keyes (msg # 4):

"Drop us out of warp just beyond their sensor range, Ms. Keyes," Malko ordered Vanna.  Caution was called for here until they formulated a plan.  Thankfully the older Birds of Prey sensor technology was nothing compared to the Federation's latest.  "We'll need to confer with the Captain and XO before proceeding."

"The birds of prey have dropped out of warp and two of them are in defensive positions around the third which has irregularities in its operating parameters, namely tachyon emissions are off the charts" Vanna says
