To The Lady: Any thoughts on whether you're connected to The Church? I think it might be fun if you're part of what Tearful worships, but at the same time I understand if that's not something you'd enjoy.

Also, a heads-up: Come Sunday I'll be out of town for a week, and will have, at best, limited internet access.

Apparently, t’is the season to be jolly.
Personally, I’m too overworked during this season for anything but tired.  :-p
Truth is, I’m very lucky to be surrounded by loved ones; so whinging aside ....

I hope that the season brings great joy to you all, my friends.

However, the season isn’t always ‘merry and bright’ for everyone.
If this is a season of sorrow, loss or great stress for you ... if you are struggling ... please do find help.   At least talk with someone you trust about your pain.  Hell, send me a Private, and we can chat.

Personally, I encourage everyone to remain aware of others’ feeling during this time; and be conscious of how our words and actions affect others.
I really do hope that everyone finds some happiness this season ... and, if possible, bring some love and light into the lives of those around them.

The Lady is a God.
She doesn’t worship anyone ... people worship her.
At least, in theory.

I’m not sure that can harmonise with ‘being part of a church’ ... unless the church is to her.
But I could be wrong: please elucidate on your church.

Grigori: has a quad walker, seats 3
JJ: skimmer, fits a driver plus up to 4 passengers

Aesop is a huge lion and needs no vehicle as such, so there will be enough room for The Lady, The Duke, and Anchorite Tearful to ride with no problem-- they could all three ride with JJ, if they wanted.

I’ve posted The Lady swinging herself up into Grigori’s quad, and I’m happy to have her remain there.
I suspect that The Duke may be more comfortable with 2+ seats to himself.

2 seats sound nice. But we really want the poor Duke to get bored just sitting somewhere?

...What do you suggest instead...?

Oh by the way, JJ, perhaps you knew already, but you got 1 xp for that failed roll...

I am back, though jet-lagged from a seven timezone shift. I echo The Lady's thoughts on the celebrations! Also, extra celebrations! I got engaged!

I will try to read up on the game and see if I can get back to posting soon-is. Still got some prep to do for school, which starts on Monday (though Tuesday for me), which will combine well with the jetlag I predict ... sigh.

I hope Anchorite Tearful (last seen 3 days before Christmas) comes back soon, but I always thought 6 people would be good to have in case we lost one. With 5, I think we can carry on just fine... (although, again, I hope she comes back...)

It's a little close to bedtime for me, so I'll check on the in-game thread tomorrow (or that is my plan, anyway)...
