My neighborhood keeps losing power (I swear I'm not making this shite up) lol. There's a ton of construction going on around me that keeps taking it out.

We were out for two days, just got it back today.

So ... I'll read/catch up after werk today.

Totally evil, Ling! Every street surrounding my sub is down to one lane, my street is closed due to construction and the power outage issue was from the only road that's not under construction :D

A couple of months ago, I had an outage that reoccured a few times. Turns out, someone had tried to run an illegal tap into the local supply, and in doing so, fried the generator so badly it was unsalvagable. The electricity company had to take the whole neighbourhood offline for hours to replace all the equipment. Because some people are idiots. Bad enough they tried to steal the power. They did it so badly, that not only did THEY not get any power, the whole neighbourhood lost it as well...

Oh geez, the things people do! I don't know how people even have the courage to try to tap into electricity ... it's electricity! I'd be so afraid that I'd fry myself.

Turns out with my outage (I have a fireman friend in my city) that it was a line that fell on a house, caused the house to catch fire AND two transformers blew. Oof.

Sorry having health problems. Be back tomorrow or Saturday. It's a every few months weeks kind of thing. If I'll be gone longer I'll have my wife let you know. Sorry I was doing good when I started

Hi everybody. Copying this to all the games I am in, to save a little time. I am afraid my father died on Friday of last week. I am understandably a little shaken. I also have a huge amount to do in the aftermath, and hope people will understand if I take a day or two to get back on my feet and catch up!

We could implement our own little flash forward (or backwards) in the Day Room thread and RP there?

I'd hoped it was going to be an opportunity to sort of RP among ourselves but then Grimy and his crew balled through, so to speak, and that went pretty sideways.

But wouldn't hurt to roleplay something on the side just to keep momentum? Maybe the group at a local bar or something? Just hanging out and bonding? I don't know much about army regulations but I assume we get weekend to ourselves? or no?

Technically the Day room thread could continue... as Sgt Singh entered after an unspecified amount of time.

I am home once more, having attended the funeral of my father, and worked on sorting out his home, and his estate. I am exhausted, physically, and emotionally. Will turn attention to posts - but probably not until after a very good night's sleep!

You guys were great. I have had several severe health related issues and some of them affect my memory and cognition. I have to put this game on indefinite hiatus but I would love to restart it all with you when I am improved. You were a fantastic group. You really brought a great energy to the game short as it was.

Sorry, my health has really deteriorated. I'm putting this game on a longer hiatus than it already has. I truly apologize for that. Although, I do occasionally have pretty good days. I'll have to think about it. Probably best to restart rather than continue. It has been quite a long time.

I do truly understand, and you have my absolute sympathy. Health comes first. I hope you manage to pull through!
