hey Azu it isn't much but it is better than sitting around all day waiting for someone.  We can check back in the hall for others.

To Alban:
"Aye, I'm still open for business. I'm sure Erret will be glad to front you the cost for the house if you do a job for him. As for consignment..."
Roll for persuasion please.

"For the house construction I can pay for half of the cost now and the rest when the dwelling is finished.  As for crafting and selling finished goods through your shop, if I have to buy raw materials from your shop at half the over cost of the finished product then I wont be able to make a profit if any.  If you are willing to sell what finished goods I am able to craft on consignment we both make some profit; a win-win for everyone. What do you think?""

Jessop ponders Alban's offer, then says, "I believe a deal can be made. How about this, I will provide materials to you at cost, you give me finished products, and when they sell, you get half the sale price."

OOC: In other words, he'll only charge you 1/5 the listed cost of a finished item, and give you 1/2 the listed cost upon sale, making your profit 2.5 times your investment.

"You have a deal Jessop.  Thank you for working with me." Alban says with sincerity.  "How soon do you think it would take to build the house and workshop buildings? I can pay you 70-80gp now to at least cover the material costs of the buildings and once the workshop is up and running I have enough raw materials in my backpack to craft about 250-300gp worth of finished goods for you to settle the debt. I also have carpenter tools and magic to help shorten the construction time of building the building if it will help."

After having stopped to clean up some enters Jessops.

<rose>
Well that was an experience. We did get an elk hide but i think we are not good at skinning.  What might this be worth?

Can you give us some pointers on how to skin, and if we find something more interesting what other parts you might want?  Also if we could get the whole carcas back maybe gutted would that be worth more?

Schmitt replies to Alban, "Yer welcome. You'd have to talk to Smith about buildin'."

Schmitt looked at the Anreyela's elk hide. "I can offer three gold pieces for that. Can't help you with skinnin', but I buy claws, antlers, fangs and bones."

Well that is good information to know, next time if we are close enough maybe we will just bring the whole thing and see if we can get someone who knows what they are doing to clean it for you.  Neither of us are Very good at that.

Anreyela hands half the money to Azu.

Lets us see if we can find anyone else ready to go and maybe make more money on the perimiter

I am not that kind of leader.  Your going to take the money or i am going to wrestle you down right here in the shop and stick it in your pocket.

Dorian enters the shop, nods and brushes the snow off his head and shoulders. He takes a couple of steps inside the shop, looking at the variety of goods before approaching Jessop “Greetings, do you carry some warmer clothes? Maybe a cloak to protect me from the weather? Also I wanted to ask where I could find... Errec wait Erret? I’m sorry I forgot his name. I’m looking for someone who can help me construct a building in town. I’ve heard I could give the order and pay as soon as I get paid.”

Tidelan walked into the shop slowly and froze once he stepped inside. After making a silent decision he walked up to Jessop and asked for a few things...

Herbalism Kit (5 Gold)

Materials for as many Healing potions as he could afford, which he assessed in front of Jessop and maybe with his help as he went through his coin purse (80 Gold)

Funnily enough, Tidelan had never bought anything before...

Shopping at Jessop's Goods

Spark entered the building, making sure to leave as much of the snow and grime outside as possible. His eyes took in the space before finding someone who looked to be working. "Excuse me, are you perhaps Jessop, the proprietor?"

He took off his backpack and placed it on the ground. "I am interested in a heavy cloak, or perhaps garments more suited to the climate. I have a few coins on me, but would also be able to barter some of the trail rations I found on my path."

Spark then looked at Jessop with intrigue. "There are also word around the settlement that there is a way to arrange for a building to be erected? I would love to aid the growth of the community by setting up a forge as well as living quarters."

He coughed, again a subconscious or adopted gesture from before his memory. "As stated, however, I don't have much coin on me right now, but already on the morrow, I am headed out to participate in a job that hopefully brings some income. I also have skills with carpentry of different kinds, and could be able to assist in the construction if that would reduce costs?"

Jessop looked over the strange new customer, and said "A good set of traveler's clothes'll do the trick. Even comes with a cloak! Got it in your size, right here. Just two gold pieces. As for construction, Erret Smith takes care of that. He'll even front the cost until you get paid."

Spark lit up at the mention of sturdy clothes to keep his joints from freezing. He produced ten neatly packed and sealed containers of various dried foodstuffs that would keep for a good while. "Could I perhaps barter the clothes for these ten rations? I'm sure someone will be happy to take them off your hands in no time?"

The news that construction on a house could be started immediately also brought a note of joy through Spark's movements and quiet hums and thrums. "That's excellent; I will make sure to revisit Mr Smith before I head to bed."

"Thank you very much, Jessop!" Spark beamed. "I am called Spark, in case I didn't introduce myself earlier." The Warforged would shake the proprietor's hand if he was a hand-shaking kind. "I hope to get a smithy up and running before long, and hopefully will be able to provide the community, and your store, with hardware."

Bidding the man farewell, Spark made his way back to the Gambit to speak to Erret about a house.
