Shopping at Jessop's Goods
As you enter this cabin you see all matter of things hanging from the walls and even the ceiling. Animal pelts, beast heads, weapons and tools of all sorts and more can be seen lining almost every inch of this shop. "Good day to all. I am Jessop Schmitt owner and provider of this here shop and I am happy to help with most any needs. What can I get for you?"

Wightvane nodded his thanks, but spoke no words, and collected the shield and additional coins before going off to find Erret.

"I was told you could begin construction of dwellings with the promise of payment from current jobs. If that is so, then I would like you to begin working on one for me."

Smith hands Wightvane a contract from a stack on his desk, "Very good. Here's a contract showing that we will reserve the funds towards the building project, and detailing the specifics. It acknowledges that in the event you don't make it back alive, I will retain ownership of the house."

A slim figure enters the shop, giving a quick shiver before approaching the counter. "Hello, sir! It seems I've come less than prepared for the climate. I could use something warm." He picks out a blanket and proffers some coin.

Buying a blanket for 5sp.
Selling tinderbox for 2.5sp.

"Thank ya for your business." Jessop answers quite promptly handing over the blanket, taking the tinderbox, and traded the coin. "Be careful out there."

Shopping at Jessop's Goods
An apparent nobleman (the satin clothing being the main give away) enters. "I noticed 3 balls in the corner of your shingle. I was hoping to offload a few nonessentials, and, possibly, acquire a few essentials. It is colder here than I was led to believe...well, actually, my brother was a bit coy about where I was being sent, or I'd have packed a bit differently."

He places a few articles of clothing even more ornate than what he's wearing, along with a make up kit on the counter. "Some clothing better suited to court..or a mummer, really, along with the latest is court fashion make up: Wigs, powder for face and wigs, and other such essentials that might explain why I find court distasteful. Also probably best for mummers, come to think of it." He looks around the shop, "If you're at all interested in such, I'll take much of the value in trade. Warmer clothing and some wool robes would suit me quite well about now. Also a scroll case and a mess kit. I suspect i'll be doing a bit of hunting, locally."

OOC:
Trying to sell 2 costumes (5 gp sell back, total) and a disguise kit (12.5 gp sellback)
Trying to buy Traveler's clothing(2 gp) and Robes(1 gp), Scrollcase(1 gp), Mess kit(2 sp)
Balance, assuming all sell, is 13 gp, 3 sp

"Not a problem my good sir." Jessop trades the items around then continues, "It's good to meet you. Welcome to town and don't forget this here shop owned by me," He said quite proudly. "Jessop Schmitt at your service." The man, Jessop Schmitt, stood gruff and older looking dressed in furs and tools of just about every trade.

Dominic makes the exchange, pockets the excess coin, and nods his thanks, "I appreciate it. I don't suppose you have a corner I could change clothes in? This outpost seems a touch devoid of buildings and I suspect privacy is going to be a bit slim for awhile."

Dominic looks mildly embarrassed "I'm afraid that's more luxury than  can afford currently. I'll just find the public privy and use it. My thanks." Dominic packs away his new outfit, then puts on his new robes and heads back out into the cold.

Walking back from the watchtower Alban makes his way towards the trading post.  Time to talk with Jessop about a few things...  Reaching the front door Alban opens it and walks into the small shop.  "Jessop?  Are you still open for business today?" Alban calls aloud.  "I am in need of living quarters being built here in town.  Do you think you could help me with that?"

Pausing to gauge Jessop's reaction Alban presses on.  "I am a tinker, mender, alchemist, and apothicary by profession and want to build a small workshop area with an attached living quarters; possibly with room to expand later with additional workshape and equipment.  Would you help me with this? I can help with the construction if it would help speed things along."

<table>
50 gp for the initial living quarters for you
25 gp for the crafting room
50 gp for the crafting table
25 gp for the additional fireplace that would be needed for alchemy use
Totaling out to 150 gp for 1 living quarter & 1 work space.
</table>

"Also, with my crafting of goods would you mind selling them for me on consignment?"

Anreyela enter the shop.

Hello Jessop, while we are looking for some others, what would a trap for pelts run looks like 5g?  Erret suggested you might have some.

Anreyela does some quick math

Hope there are a lot of animals around here as we would need to get at least a couple dozen just to make back the cost of the trap.

Buys trap and heads out with Azu to hunt some animals.

Azu said, ”I thought there were evil doers?” She did buy a trap as well. ”Look now we each have one! Splendid!” She handed the shop keeper another 5g.

Heading out with new Besty Anreyela

To Alban:
"Aye, I'm still open for business. I'm sure Erret will be glad to front you the cost for the house if you do a job for him. As for consignment..."
Roll for persuasion please.

"For the house construction I can pay for half of the cost now and the rest when the dwelling is finished.  As for crafting and selling finished goods through your shop, if I have to buy raw materials from your shop at half the over cost of the finished product then I wont be able to make a profit if any.  If you are willing to sell what finished goods I am able to craft on consignment we both make some profit; a win-win for everyone. What do you think?""
