My apologies to anyone left in the dust.  My whole family came down with a nasty stomach bug that put us out for a while.  Should be back to normal now though.

Funny that.  Because she was sick, my daughter wasn't at daycare when there was a staff member who tested positive for COVID.  So... silver lining, I guess?

That's most definitely a silver lining.

I really hope nobody else in that workplace got infected, especially not any of the toddlers!

Hopefully he's doing ok. The reaction is no joke. I was lucky (pfizer), but my spouse was out a couple days after the second dose (moderns).

Just got my second one on Thurs. Still feeling it, but nothing major. Hope they start feeling better soon! Take all the time you need.

I had the Pfizer and had a really sore arm for a few days but otherwise good. Hopefully due 2nd dose soon.

No worries, IMO a lack of concentration is the main ruin for DND.

As an example; me and my brother were gonna start a new campaign today, but he was tired, so we decided not to play today, since that is often better than investing to something when you aren't in the headspace to fulfill that commitment.

Forcing yourself to be creative can lead to burn out, but it can also lead to worse things; like subpar content or even a major mistake. I know this for a fact, since I do a lot of creative writing, and getting bored of stuff is never my biggest worry; it's much worse to wreck something you've put a lot of work into because you weren't sufficiently self-aware.

Tl;dr Don't be a gm while you're sick it sucks ( for everyone ) !

Don't feel the need to rush back to action on our account. We'll be happy to have you back whenever you're up to it. Your health comes first.
