“Then consider it a deal then. The two magic item formulas and the broom for 600gps in coin and potions. What say you?”

Re: [SHOP] Hexia's Shop

To clarify you wanted the used broom of flying and the formulas for the boots and cloak of Elvenkind. Is this correct?

Re: [SHOP] Hexia's Shop

Ah okay no problem just make sure to mark the used broom of flying as used because it does have an extra effect I get to tell you about now that you've bought it.
"You have yourself a deal. Thank you very much for your business and enjoy." She smiled at Alban then turned her attention back to the situation at hand unfolding before her.

"My name is Kaern and it would appear you are my bounty. What say you, thief?" Kaern, without drawing attention to it, tried to block the portal as best a halfling like him could.

Re: [SHOP] Hexia's Shop

Izayah blinked a few times rapidly, looking surprised, then let out a loud laugh. "Ha! Yeah, right. Funny guy." He shook his head.

He then looked at the halfing again and the smile slipped off his face. "Wait, yer serious?"

He frowned, anger sliding on to his features, and glared at the halfling. His speech patterns slipped further back in to his past as he was reminded of his scrappy days on the streets as a child. His voice was calm though, like the calm before the storm. Deliberate, forced calm. "What the ****'re you talkin' 'bout? I ain't been a thief since before my military days, an' I'm NO ONE'S bounty, little one."

Re: [SHOP] Hexia's Shop

"I have it right here on paper. Is this not your name?" The halfling handed Izayah a folded up piece of paper that when unfolded said:
    Wanted
     Thief

  Swift-Hands Hamadrell
Item that was stolen : Eyes of the Eagle
Job: Capture Hamadrell alive and retrieve the stolen item.
Thief's Description: Thick black hair and a pair of short swords at their sides.
Item's Description: A bird-like mask with crystal lenses.
Reward: 500gp

Re: [SHOP] Hexia's Shop

The frown deepened but the anger slipped away. It was replaced first by confusion as he read the paper. He murmured absently as he read, "No. Can't say s'I've never been called 'Swift-Hands' before."

The confusion was still there, but mixed with curiosity. "Int'restin'." He handed the paper back slowly. "Main reason I came up this way, this far north, was I'd heard rumors that someone else had the same last name s'me. Bein' an orphan, that stirred up my curiosity fiercely, s'ya might imagine."

He shook his head. "Seems I was right. Course, hearin' that they're a thief s'disappointin'."

"Oh, I almost forgot to mention, my brilliant memory," She mumbled to herself that last bit. "a few nights ago someone sharing your last name showed up at our village. We gave them shelter for the night, but they were gone by morning. I'm sorry we couldn't hold them here for you Izayah." She watched the two for reactions hoping this information would help.

Azu played with a couple of wands. ”What does this do?”

I’d like a wand of smiles.

Izayah's head whipped around to look at Hexia with a surprised look on his face. "What? Really? They were HERE?" He stepped towards her, looking a bit eager. "Did ya'll see which way they left at least?"

He glanced at Kaern. "I ain't who ye're huntin', but I've a vested int'rest in findin' 'em as well. I'm a Ranger an' tracker so ya'll can come with me if y'want, but I'm gonna go after 'em regardless."

He then suddenly paused and looked torn, slowly turning to look at Hexia again. "Hexia....I'm a man o'my word, an' I told ya'll I'd help y'out with yer current request....but...I'd really appreciate it if ya'd let me outta this so I can try t'find this other Hamadrell."

"I'm sure you can keep a look out in the Rimewood on your way. That's where they headed. Out into the Rimewood." Hexia paused for a moment as she held a stone with a marking up in front of her. "And Kaern, it would seem you're being called away. Something about your sister?"

Kaern wasted no time. He turned for the portal, but before he left he spoke over his shoulder, "If you find Swift-hands and the stolen goods please send the necklace he stole back to me." Then he disappeared through the portal.

"Well with the right act many of these things can make people smile." Hexia gestures to all of the things lined against her wall. "Take for example a Bag of Holding. It's a very useful object indeed, but it can hold things that are bigger, or at least longer than itself. Another example would be a Bag of Tricks. The animals that can be summoned follow commands very well. With the right act you could put on quite the performance."

"Thank you, Hexia. I will put these to good use." Gathering up his purchases and packing them away in his backpack and holds the broom in his hand with care Alban retreats into the background to watch the exchange of words going on in the store.

As the confrontation between Kaern and Izayah goes on Alban hides his amusement and smile well.  "If you need someone help you with your mission, Hexia, I can do that.  I doubt I would be much help to Izayha tracking someone down; particularly out here in a forrest. It's up to you."

Azu looked crushed. Her sadness knew no bounds as she sniffled. ”I don’t have that much. I only have this much.”

She pulled out a coin purse with 150 gold pieces. She sighed, ”Oh well. Thank you for showing me.”

Re: [SHOP] Hexia's Shop

Sai stumbles through the door as the others are part way through their exchange.  "Blasted portals..." he mutters quietly before composing himself and taking in the situation.  As Alban finishes his suggestion, Sai replies in his more usual tone, "A fine proposal, Alban.  Izayah, right?  I am Sai, and she," the elf indicates, nodding toward Azucondie, "is Azu, the de facto face of the SUPER AWESOME AMAZING INTREPED... trio?... OF DESTINY. We really should pick a name that doesn't need to be changed every day," he mumbles jovially to Azu.  Sai continues, "If you wish to pursue this relative, or outlaw, or whoever it may be, I would be happy to accompany you, and I believe Azu might be willing as well.  And if Alban can take your place in this other investigation, it sounds like a win for everyone."
