Adam nodded, "Right, so either of you two good at speaking. I am skilled in magic but I can do a touch of tracking and survival but my feet are made out of squeaky boards.." He could survive the wild just fine but there was nothing about academy life that really taught how to go unseen... unless you are a vagrant student or something.

Littlejohn smiles at Azu's antics, chuckling at her spin.

"Me too big to sneak. Can cook, fight, and track."

Catching Adam's last statement a puzzled look crosses his face and he looks down at Adam's shoes. "Feet look like feet, not like boards. You have boards inside shoes?"

Adam nods, "Within my shoes is everything that could make noise at the worst times." He clapped his hands and started backtracking. Hopefully, the monster in question had been wounded before it got its own hit on the man who was a zombie.

Azu turned and went down the kill monsters path...

Sai says, "I can sneak. Keep some distance behind me. Not too far, of course. Don't want to face whatever's out there alone."

Sai's familiar flew out ahead, her keen eyes looking for any dangerous beasts.

19:24, Today: Conspirator, on behalf of Sai Nightbreeze, rolled 23 using 1d20+9.  Stealth.

A few moments later, whoever is in front (not counting Sai) finds a message in the snow, with an arrow pointing roughly northwest. "Big cat. Striped. Wait till I strike, Sai" From the direction of the arrow, you hear a pained feline growl a few moments later.

Everyone, roll initiative, and pick a position within the first three columns (A,B or C) to begin from. If you rolled higher than the Tiger's initiative, post your first action as well.

Round 1
Sai surprised the tiger, shooting it in the neck. Realizing how dangerous a tiger is if it gets a running start, he put his bow away and dashed towards it.
The tiger, surprised, growled in pain (the growl mentioned before.)
Everyone else spent the first turn moving into position.

Round 2
Sai Drew his rapier, and with an incantation, the blade began to hum. As the tiger reared up on its hind legs to strike, he jammed the blade into its heart, pulled it out , and spun out of the way as the creature fell, dead.

Sorry the fight didn't last longer. I didn't expect to roll so well for Sai.  He actually crit on both attacks! Everyone still gets 50 xp each, though.

Azu jumped up and down. She shouted "YEA! Go Sai, it's ya birthday!"

Adam sighed with a smile as he made his way to the beast and started trying his best to work the body. This was an outpost and teeth, claws, meat, and pelt are all things that could be used. (Survival 15 rolled)

"Two shakes of a tigers tail and we will be off to home."

Azu will go with Adam and Aid him with her bountiful knowledge of things and places.

Litlejohn goes to help Adam "Now have tiger skin!"

Adam started backing up when John came up yelling about the skin. From the verbiage it sounded like he wanted the skin. All the same he put a hand on his book and backed away slowly.

"Why Adam stop?"
Stopping by the body "Sai get skin? We take to village?"

Adam turned his head a bit. "You're new, we met you in the woods, and you walked up as a third set of hands. I can only assume you want the skin for yourself give your speaking methods. I'd like to avoid a fight if you mean to take it by force."

A puzzled expression crosses Littlejohn's face as we works through Adam's words. "Fight? No fight. Sai killed tiger. Is Sai's tiger skin."

His expression brightens as he realizes he's scared Adam. He's used to that reaction.
"Me want be friends. Be good. Not want scare."

Adam slipped when trying to get the meat, cutting open the intestine, and contaminating the meat. However, he gathered a pelt worth 2gp, and claws worth 4gp.

Sai said, "I can make two sets of armor from that hide. I'd be happy to share the proceeds with you all."

Adam straightens his back a little and the wedge his left hand formed was dropped. He then gave Sai a thumbs up. "It takes a lot of gold to make a wizard's tower."

The grisly work done, you can all return to town without any further complications.

Congratulations! When you make it back to town, you each receive 25gp, 100 xp, 1 downtime unit.

Adam questioned the builders for just a bit, "I am looking to build a tower with a vault. How much does it cost to build a tower that can be added to at a later date? At current, I am a bit homeless and I want to fix that problem."

After counting her money she realized she still didn't have enough for the wonderful bag of critters. She sighed and went to perform and then to her room for sleep.

The builders let Adam know that pricing is up to Smith. Sai makes and sells two sets of tiger hide armor, and gives each of his teammates 2 gp, keeping the change as his fee for the crafting.
