[OOC] Warship Diplomacy OOC

This is your OOC thread for the quest to deal with Muzzrink's village. The quest thread itself will be open in a moment, and you may begin posting there whenever you're ready.

If you want, you can handle the outcome of the hunting contest here while you post in the quest thread.

Also, as a reward for everybody's initiative and RP, each of you get Inspiration. Try to remember to use it!

Sorry about that, I've been one of the tens of thousands of fire refuges.

Today was the first day in a month and a week I've been able to move home.

I'm a little behind.

We got insanely, insanely lucky.

One of our neighbors is a retired fire chief, and he disobeyed the evacuation order and organized his own fire squad.  Dug a bunch of lines around our place.  Fire surrounded us around 180 degrees, right up along the line, didn't touch the house.

Glad your house is safe!

The fires in California have thankfully not come near us yet, but the sky is brown and its been hard to breathe. We live in a desert, clear skies are normally one of its few redeeming features.

Yikes! That's a terrible situation :(, but I'm glad you and you're home are safe :)

California's seems like such an awesome place, it's a huge shame that it's prone to wildfires (and other natural disasters IIRC)...

I giggled at the irony, and then felt sad about it :(

Up here in Ontario, winter is very long, so I understand living for the good weather! (Well, my mom sure does this; I don't really leave my home unless I have to)...

(Not)Fun Fact: It's gotten worse recently, I remember having autumn and spring as a child. But just this year (IIRC) we had snow in April... there's really only two and a half seasons here; Winter, ""spring"" (read: wet and stinky), and half-summer (about a month or two, tops)...

The only bright side for living here is that since it's normally very cold (and because the wet months are fleeting), there are very few insects that I regularly encounter. Which is great for me, as someone who hates 'em!

I often joke (much to my mom's chagrin) that as soon as winter ends, the 'good months' for going outside are over (obviously, it's the opposite), since I will risk seeing a mosquito.

I don't go outside any more than I have to either, but since we have to keep windows open, the smoke is still a problem. I have far to used to clean air, to the point that spending much time in, say, Los Angeles causes my lungs to hurt.

Repeated most of my first post in the quest thread, since I'm assuming the conversation you all just had was near town (since half the party have no idea how to get to the abandoned Redfoot camp.)

It took us two hours to get there, since dawn. There was no time to sleep...

We've already cleared out this 'abandoned camp', Tidelan would have just walked through.

Also, Conspirator: Why are we even visiting the Redfoot tribe? We have a map to three-claw point, can't we just head there?

Or do we need to stop here for the map-holder to orient themself?

@Boneclaw.

Assume we made arrangements for you to meet us at the camp.  We wouldn't leave without our Death Priest.

Silva, thank you for your sense.  *L*. I can just see Brohm sneaking out of someplace, and the calls if his companions alerting the numerous hostiles to his presence. *L*
Also, great RP folks.  Keep it up.  If what your character would do causes some extra danger, go for it.  Explore and evolve your character.  Not saying Brohm will necessarily appreciate it, but I enjoy playing with people who are exited by and immersed in their characters.
