After taking quite a beating before he could even react to his own words, Tidelan was filled with a burst of panic, but then, his allies came to his aid.
An implausibly large smile fills his face, and a strange laughter comes from his chest... Oddly, there are now fangs in his mouth... In fact, did he ever have this much fur?
From his bloodlusted grin, his entire body changed outwards, in a soothing harmony of what sounds like bubbles garbling to the surface for air from beneath the water, and a pressurized stream of air being injected into a leather sac... There is something too industrial about the sound, as if it has no place in this world.
What should reasonably have been tendons ripping and bones shattering was a sound of unmistakable whimsy but of indiscernible origin.
Yet, the outcome was not strange. No, it was very standard, and very terrifying.
A salivating brown bear straight from a folk tale fills the space. It's angles are wrong, as if it was drawn into life. Yet, it's malice is perfectly portrayed on its' twisted features, almost demonic if not for the fact that it was so very clearly from the very heart of this world's "Nature".
With a roar that shakes the space, the brown bear stands on two high legs and slashes and strikes down with both tooth and claw against the ironclad warrior that had previously harried it.
The pitch-blackness does not cause it to waver. It is absolutely certain of the need for violence, and the lack of illumination does not affect it's resolve.
