Barely noticing being scratched by the bear, Tusk pivots and slashes at Wightvane with his axe. Following his strike, he sidesteps the Dragonborn and heads West, out of the darkness. Seeing Tiria directly in front of him he swings wildly at her but misses.

Tiria sidesteps Tusk's wild swing and taps his weapon aside with her own while wearing a condescending look on her face. Laughing brightly she says, "Oh honey, I hoped someone would come to dance with me. Do you remember this one?"

In an elegant near-pirouette, the humming scimitar continues its song as it arcs through the air to rise up and then crash down in a diagonal slash, creating a tearing sound which cuts through the air in a micro sonic boom.

"Tsk," she tuts as her own blade flashes past the man who deftly dodges aside, causing his hair and the trim of his cloak to rustle with the wind.

"Hmph, telegraphed it too much. Well at least the audience couldn't see..." she thinks to herself in annoyance.

Seeing the gleaming man dash out into the light, Ursine-Tidelan gets a sudden urge to take a bite... it would taste very good, no? He best soften it up with his claws at well!

Then, the scent of unnatural metal pulled from the veins of the earth hit his nose, and a screw went loose in his head.

A bloody foam dripped from the bears lips as it mauled at Tusk.

Izayah heard the bear move away and frowned. The sounds after that made him rethink heading in to the darkness at the moment. He could kind of sense were Tidelan was and he was in no hurry to get there.

He redrew his longbow and fired an arrow in to the darkness and then stepped back.

Object Interaction: Draw longbow.
Action: Attack with Longbow at Wightvane (Miss with a 15).
Movement: To S-9.

An armoured tiefling, apparently one of the medics, ducks the rope barrier and rushes to the downed Tusk.

He is clearly wary of the raging brown bear but drags its victim a short ways before laying a glowing hand on him and hefting him to his feet.

Taking Tusk's arm over his shoulder, he hurries him past the rope and off the field.
"I've been on the receiving end of that before, you fought well."

Carmen is the only one to see Tiria blink back the tears of pain and take a ragged breath before she lifts her bloody hand from her wound to perform an arcane gesture. With a sigh she  lets the hand drop once more to clutch her side as she sweeps around behind the warlock to hunker against the wall.

A spark of light, a mote of warmth, blinks into existence near Malkus. The warmth rapidly evolves into to an uncomfortable heat, then an oppressive one, as it grows into a flaming sphere five feet across.

Suspended in the air as though an explosion frozen in time, its surface roils hypnotically before it suddenly lurches to ram the paladin in the side.

Wightvane moved to join the others, taking a bit of cover from the ranged combatants for a moment. Looking up, he spotted the owl and fired a blast of energy from the tip of his spear.

Finally free of his bonds, he finds no one in the immediate vicinity and pulls out his longbow. However, the arrow aimed for the angry bear goes wide, and Sai slips back around the stands. His owl, after avoid the blast from the warlock, retreats as well.

Having downed his previous prey, Tidelan gets a whiff through the wind across the darkness, of another tasty man of sacred meat, yet also wearing that blasphemous metal armor...

Turning and bursting backwards in a flurry of motion, Tidelan reaches Malkus and barrages him with tooth and claw, which is extra undesirable because the natural weapons are still covered in some of the blood of the paladin's teammate.

As he breaches the darkness, the light of the sun shines on the war beast, invigorating him...

Seeing the bear take down Malkus, Izayah let out an angry growl and rushed forward. His legs pumped as he hurried, and he stood over his friend's body. Then he pistoned one wielded rapier after the other at the bear - the first one missed but the second one was a strong pierce.

Attacking Tidelan with Action and Bonus Action. Critical Hit on one for 19 dmg (9 halved).

Having only just finished getting Tusk out of the arena, Victor starts moving around towards where the sounds of action are coming from on the other side of a cloud of Darkness.

"Chelsie, I heard cheering, if someone went down you might have to get to them," he calls out to the other medic.

The flaming sphere rolls around the current fracas, seemingly heading towards Sai's position before reversing and slamming into Izayah's side.

Carmen watches Tiria pick herself up from the wall, leaving a smudge of blood on its surface, then move swiftly southwards and around the corner out of sight.

Wightvane moved out of the darkness to strike at Izayah with his spear. The two had fought many battles together, however, and Izayah knew more than a few of the dragonborn's old tricks.
