Besides the super-awesome-amazing-hilarious-magnificent-intreped-hagslaying-quintet-of-destiny, and Kriv, is there anyone else available to go out on a patrol? If not, does anyone object to us creating some level 1 npc's to fill the roster?

Who all are part of that quintet? I'm new to this gang :)

The super amazing death-defying whale-pushing eclectic quintet of destiny is a patrol group consisting of Alban, Anreyela, Azu, Hoot, and Sai, and we're also the people beside you at Smith's Gambit (although Azu hasn't posted yet). The name has existed for one day game-time lol. I think Azu came up with it, and it's fun so it stuck.

Once enough have signed up in Smith's Gambit you get added to another thread for the patrol. Patrols are designed for 4-5 players, with no more than 5. So we're going to have to split, although we haven't decided how. We're also trying to figure out some aftermath of what happened with our last patrol.

Quick question to magic users in this game. Are the GMs strict on spell components, I.e. do I need to have the required materials to cast the spells? Some GMS ignore them, others are strict. This will help me decide on my final spell choices.

Yes and no.

You do have to buy spell components for anything not covered by a component pouch, but the general store sells them.
