Divok, you should be using Animal Handling to influence the dog, not Persuasion. And with the offered meat, you can make the roll with advantage.

It's another player, so probably not going to have combat. I don't know who it is, though.

I'm not a big fan of trolling in my D&D, even less so when it's done by someone I don't know, so I'm a bit annoyed at the moment. I know it's done in the name of fun, we just have different definitions of the word.

Yeah, I'm annoyed too at another player interfering with our quest.

He's the player who runs the temple. He had my permission to get involved. I had anticipated that he might try and shoo out the cat (and was prepared for you to chase her,) but since Myre already succeeded in her animal handling check, I'm not going to take that away.
