Brohm comes running back to the group, belowing.  "Follow me.  Now!  When we get there cast your globe Alban.". His gravelly voice firm and urgent.  He runs full tilt towards some thick trees up ahead.  Racing the on-coning blizzard to get beneath their shelter.

Sai hoists his pack and tails Brohm into the trees.

After an uneventful day of mozying, Malkus is happy to dash off into the trees.

Azu was nodding to Sai and reaching into her wonderful bag of animals when Brohm charged to them and told them to follow. "Maybe I won't be bored after all."

With Brohm leading them, the group followed quickly the path that lead up ahead. Soon green could be seen through the trees even with the impending blizzard swiftly making its way towards the group from the right. With no time to hesitate the group makes it to the green just in time for the blizzard to blow past them. It was an odd sight to see as the blizzard seemed to be warded off by some sort of invisible barrier shaped like dome around the area they had just entered. With more concern over escaping the blizzard the group didn't quite realize where they had gotten shelter from until they started looking around. To some this place was familiar, to others it was brand new, but it was clear that this was what had been talked about, the center of the Rimewood. It was a clearing that had green grass laid across the ground and green trees spread periodically throughout the area. The blizzard wrapped itself along the side of the barrier passing it by unable to touch this land.

"Well, we've found ourselves in familiar surroundings, at least. Back to the protection of the plane of water."

Malkus crosses the threshold and then pauses to admire the sight of the storm rolling through. After a moment, he acknowledges Wightvane's comment.

"Yeah, this is the place. Past the fountain, that way, is where the old ruins are," he says as he points off into the distance.

"With the bad weather blowing in we were lucky to reach this place.  We will be safe here from the elements tonight.  Just have to watch out for any critters who are also trying to find shelter from the storm. "

Sai stumbles into the clearing, then gawks at the strange sight. "This is... unusual. The plane of water, you say?" He looks carefully behind him at the wall of snow with a curious expression.

Haven't been here before--how big is the dome? And examining the "edge" of it, is there a clear line where the snow hits, or does it dissipate gradually?

The dome is 6,000ft across and 3,000ft high and there is a clear line where the snow is separate from the green ground as well where the sky is separate from the blizzard just outside.

Azu looked around in amazement. "It is like a Tiny Hut spell, only not tiny at all."

“Basically, yes Azu. Just on a grander scale. It’s powered by a magical water fountain at the center of the dome.”

"First thing in order, we should check out the above-ground sections for a spot to set up camp. After that, I have some business with that fountain."

How much daylight is left?

Brohm moves to scout the area, disappearing into the foliage.

The group can see that the sun was starting to set. Malkus was right, time to setup camp was at hand.

Whisper scouts the immediate area for any threats and a good defensible location to setup camp.

Azu helped Alban, as best  she could.

Sai seems transfixed on the phenomenon of the dome. He eventually follows the others, but is apparently distracted.

When the other have decided on wherever it is that they want to set up camp, Malkus helps the others get set up and then quickly erects his own tent.

Brohm eventually returns, appearing from within the foliage soundlessly.  Guiding them to a defensible spot of suitable size.
