I  realize, Storyteller, that you may have plans for the world’s mythology, but I have been re-reading SCUP and just went through the exercise for creating the mythology. This is what I came up with:

In the beginning the world was pristine and unsullied. Then we meddled in what we should not. This resulted in the rightful order of things being overturned. And because of this there was decay and desolation, the once beautifu landscape  blighted. Until the gods themselves intervened. And now we can never return to those innocent days.

I'd need to think on a framework, but I am open to any and all ideas. :)

Well, given how I was planning to be a black hood, maybe there is a order loyal to whatever government given expert training and stealthy roles in spying, assassination, archery, acrobatics-the whole deal.

It could be if the current government is corrupt or evil enough, this group of black hoods separated and went underground. Planning to met out its own justice or bring down the corrupt leadership.

I feel like a corrupt government is almost mandatory and I'm totally in favor of a secret group of hoods working against it.

What sort of government, though? Theocracy? Magocracy? Monarchy?

Or Multiple city/state arrangements rather than a strong central government?

Any thoughts on the mythology?

In the beginning...
Then...
This resulted in...
And because of this...
Until...
And now...

Those are the guiding statements the authors recommend for building a framework.
