I'm sure you noticed me slowing down my posting in the last few months and weeks. While I am enjoying DMing the game, I have had a flareup (or downturn, I suppose) of my depression due to work factors, home factors, and general world issue factors, which makes it hard for me to work up the wherewithal to post appropriately, or sometimes at all.  Which then can snowball into feeling bad because I haven't posted, but then being too depressed to post, which means I feel bad I haven't posted...

You get the drift.  ;)

I am seeking appropriate professional help to get better/make things more manageable (this isn't my first rodeo). I am going to take a short DMing break whist I get through the first stage of treatment, so I hope to resume posting in just over two weeks.

I'm sorry you have to deal with that on top of the absolute shit show that is the world right now, you have absolutely nothing to feel guilty about. Doesn't mean me saying that will make the guilty feelings magically disappear, but that's not the point. Just letting you know you've done nothing wrong by me.  I'm 2 months shy of finishing my Master's in Social Work, with more than a decade working in mental health. So not only do I very much get the drift, I'm also pretty buried in school and work right now.

Sounds like you're being a bad ass about it.  Please take all the time you need to take care of yourself, Amora and I will be here when you get back.

Yep, take all the time you need and when you're ready to go again. Let us know and we'll be happy to pick up or start over as needed. :D

No worries.  I've been caught up in a lot recently.  Needed to help out a friend because the person who should have been helping is a useless lump of a human being, and then I have a writing deadline I need to do something about and I'm struggling with that.  :(
