The building where the treaty is to be signed in was a large, opaque, white sphere several stories tall and quite wide. You can see several entrances where armed guards and scanners are located.

Well, they should be expected.  Rah flew right up to whatever looked like the main entrance.

"Papers," the guard said,

Rah looked around at the others.

"We're from the Legion, sent to guard the proceedings," she said.  "You should have been told about us."

"I'll call my supervisor," the guard said bring out his phone. "He said he'll be here shortly."

"I hope there aren't any crossed wires," m-Taa said.

Soon one of the local aliens in a dark blue uniform arrived.

"We went over this, Kann Dorr, we ere to have some representatives from the Legion here," the alien said to the guard before turning to you. "Come right this way please."

Rah did as well.  Apparently bureaucratic nonsense was a constant in the universe...

"I apologize for the mistake. You may call me Lrakk, I am in charge of security for the signing," the alien said, leading you to the security headquarters.

The room was filled with high-tech equipment and equipment lockers. Many of the local people were in uniforms and watching the equipment.

"We should probably be on the floor," said Rah.  "I can be discreetly out of sight, if that's necessary."

"Yes, but I wanted to show you the command room first," Lrakk said.

"Sounds good," said Rah.  "Let's go."

...she was trusting to the Empath and Telepath to let them know if there was something strange going on.

m-Taa did another check of the background emotions.

You do detect some hate and anger that is getting closer and closer to the building.

"Incoming," Solar Flare said into everyone's earpiece. "It's the Dark Legion looking to disrupt the peace process."

"Give me a direction," said Rah.  "I'll shut them down!"

"They have a drop ship coming down to the east of the building. expect between six and eight hostiles," Solar Flare said.

Rah flew off in that direction at once.

m-Taa followed.

As you head outside you see the drop ship land and several of the security members levelling guns at it.

Rah began to move in at once-- she was a close-quarters fighter, and afraid of nothing.

m-Taa held back; her powers didn't need proximity to be effective.

The pod opened and six humanoid figures came out. One a blue skinned woman looked around.

"Darkstar, take out the riffraff," the woman said.

A small, four armed humanoid waved his hands and suddenly the security forces were gone.

Rah roared a challenge to them, and leapt on Darkstar first!
