Re: Team 1 VS Team 5: Room 1/5a
OOC: How can the imp give Little Shadow advantage if Ront doesn't even know it's there? The idea of giving another person advantage on attacks is imposing yourself in a way that the target has to dodge making them easier to hit for the other person. If Ront can't even see the imp he wouldn't know to avoid it so wouldn't move at all making him easier for Little Shadow to hit.

edit: not saying the imp can't do it. Just saying the imp can't do it while invisible. TO quote the PHB "You feint, distract the target, or in some other way team up to make your ally's attack more effective." For that to work, Ront would have to be aware of the imp's efforts. Which he can't be while it's invisible.

OOC: The elemental hasn't gone yet to use an action to aid to give advantage. It wasn't commanded to, either.

Pecking his ears and pulling his hair or some such. The Help action isn't one that negates Invisibility. But you're right he does have to distract and that's what he's doing. BTW, totally a raven right now so pecking is possible.

Re: Team 1 VS Team 5: Room 1/5a
Ront moves to dodge the pathetic stab of a rapier, but hits something and reacts by moving away from it, right back into the way of the rapier. Shock replaces the rage in his eyes for a second before they lose all emotion as he slided off the rapier and falls to the ground.

Unfortunately my 'drop to 1 hp instead' is once per day, and I already used it earlier.

Ront the Brawn rolled 4 using 1d20 with rolls of 4.  Death save.

Re: Team 1 VS Team 5: Room 1/5a
The elemental, following the command it was given turns to Rhogar and tries to step on him but firmly plants it's foot on solid ground instead. It grunts and swings it's fists down at him instead.

Action: Multiattack. First attack misses. Second attack hits AC:22 for 10 bludgeoning damage.
Movement: None

Elhorn Hartgard rolled 10 using 2d8+5 with rolls of 3,2.  Slam 2 dmg (bludgeoning).

Elhorn Hartgard rolled 22 using 1d20+8 with rolls of 14.  Earthy Slam 2 vs Rhogar.

Elhorn Hartgard rolled 12 using 1d20+8 with rolls of 4.  Earthy Slam 1 vs Rhogar.

Yuirkinshirka ducked around Tristan, quickly counting out a pile of gold she threw at the goblin. She palmed something from the display and ran up the wall.

moving to I1, making a purchase, then climbing up the wall (with slippers of spider climbing) to end up 15' off the ground at H1.

Tristan used his reaction, so no Opportunity attack.

I'm guessing the slippers were previously worn and not just pit on as the purchased item?

As Y2K left the elemental's reach, it reaches out and slams her on her way out.

Earthy reaction: AoO as Y2K leaves it's 10ft reach. Hits AC:20 for 14 bludgeoning dmg

Elhorn Hartgard rolled 14 using 2d8+5 with rolls of 2,7.  Slam dmg (bludgeoning).

Elhorn Hartgard rolled 20 using 1d20+8 with rolls of 12.  Earthy AoO on Y2K.

Re: Team 1 VS Team 4: Room 1/5a
Little Shadow shiv's Ront, Ront goes down. Little Shadow is no longer grappled.
Tristan flares against Yuirk's attack from last Friday. He doesn't take 11.
Tristan attacks Yuirk, Yuirk reacts with shield.
Ront sees bubbles in water. No, no that can't be right. There aren't any bubbles and he's not in water at all. He's lying down inside a glass coffin...no that's not it either...
Earthy Elementy hits Rhogar for 10.

ROUND 3

Yuirk moves and EE takes an AOO, Yuirk sheilds as a reaction. She buys something. It's an instant fortress. Team 4 is going to lose. I just realized it says Team 5 in the subject line this entire time even though I fixed it in the game menu.
Just kidding it's not an instant fortress.

Re: Team 1 VS Team 4: Room 1/5a
With grim determination, Rhogar thinks a prayer to Kord to grant him the strength to survive the next six seconds. If he could survive that, maybe they had some small chance of defeating the cowards hiding behind a summoned elemental. He moved around Tristan's side towards the shop. Rapidly he unburdened himself of a few items, including his sword and longbow, and nearly all his gold. In exchange he claimed a small handful of new items and repeated his prayer. Six seconds. He needed six seconds. Then they might have some small chance. He continued moving, since the elemental had already struck at his gnome companion with opportunity.

OOC: move to use the shop with my action then finish at H1 beneath Y2K up on the wall.

[Private to Happy Mage: Oooook..... here goes.....

periapt of wound closure 100 gp

buying:

Re: Team 1 VS Team 4: Room 1/5a
Elhorn, hearing one member of the opposition go down and the sound of coins and items being exchanged moves back up the hall to get a better read on what is going. He peaks around the corner assessing the situation and then his mouth moves but only Rhogar hears the discordant melody he whispers wracking them with pain.

Move: To J9
Action: Dissonant Whispers on Rhogar.
Wisdom Save DC 14 or take 17 psychic damage and use a reaction to run as far from El as possible. Half damage on save

No action required:
Command Kerberos to Help Shade attack Y2K (take your advantage mate, flying speed of 60)
Command Earthy to attack any remaining enemies.

Elhorn Hartgard rolled 17 using 4d6 with rolls of 5,4,5,3.  Dissonant Whisper (Psychic Damage)

Re: Team 1 VS Team 4: Room 1/5a
Little Shadow, relieved to no longer be within the clutches of the raging half-orc, steps to a position next to Earthy such that he has a clear view of Yuirk who had scaled the far wall.  He was sure to avoid the ever-growing pool of blood and viscera that the violent shiv-ing of Ront had created.  One just does not want to step in any of that...its a real pain trying to clean them off after the fact.

Shade grabbed his hand-crossbow and aimed it at the spider-gnome.  From the look of distraction on the woman's face it was clear to Little Shadow that the imp, Keberous, was doing its invisible best to improve his chances of hitting his mark and maximizing the potential damage should he succeed.

With that, the halfling fired a crossbow bolt at Yuirkinshirka, after which he stepped back behind Earthy to hide.
Little Shadow hits AC 24 for 7 points of piercing damage then hides (perception DC 15).

12:47, Today: Secret Roll: Little Shadow rolled 15 using 1d20+5 with rolls of 10.  Stealth.

12:46, Today: Secret Roll: Little Shadow rolled 7 using 3d6+3 with rolls of 1,1,2.  Crossbow bolt damage plus sneak attack damage .

12:45, Today: Secret Roll: Little Shadow rolled 15 using 1d20+5 with rolls of 10.  Crossbow ranged attack with advantage roll 2 vs AC 17.

12:45, Today: Secret Roll: Little Shadow rolled 24 using 1d20+5 with rolls of 19.  Crossbow ranged attack with advantage roll 1 vs AC 17.

Re: Team 1 VS Team 4: Room 1/5a
Tristan took a step towards the wall and cast his gaze upwards.

"I'm sorry, my little friend. I wasn't the one to start this but I damn sure intend to finish it."

He reached up his hand and gouts of flame bathed the wall and ceiling until both glowed red hot.

Burning Hands. 7 fire damage, or DC 14 dex save for half. Either way I think its enough.

12:25, Today: Secret Roll: Tristan rolled 7 using 3d6 with rolls of 4,2,1.  Burning Hands.

Re: Team 1 VS Team 4: Room 1/5a
"So, what happens now?" El asks nobody in particular. "Do we finish them off or does that happen naturally?"

[Private to Happy Mage; Little Shadow; Tristan: I guess earthy could technically pound two of them to death on his turn since unconscious body falling on other body caused damage which counts as one failed death save and his hits against them would be auto crits which are two failed death saves. But is it necessary to play that stuff out at this point?]
