Re: ABILITY SCORES

I do not feel like I am about to die, a little over half HP. I can offer a potion of cure light wounds to anyone in need.

Re: ABILITY SCORES

I have 4 more uses of "healing" each will heal 10 points.

But on a separate but related note...(pending gm approval)...I could re-write as a healer, since as one of you pointed out there are limits (which I knew about) that hit sooner then I thought they would.

Re: ABILITY SCORES

I need some healing

I have some points in truespeak but I like some of the spells more than utterances

The improved mage armor bulwark of reality for example.

Instead of rewrite maybe just plan to prestige class or something

Re: ABILITY SCORES

How does one get utterances and such? is it a feat per 'spell' or a skill point per? (like languages)

If it's not feat costly, I may pick up a little "I learned it from those two over there"

Between the potion Binx gave me (not sure what it is so need someone to roll for it) and Theo's efforts I should be good to go.

In reply to Nixif (msg # 343):

Not sure
I only have the true speak skill as a class skill because I am a factotum
And I put ranks in it

There are a number of feats related to it and several classes as well ...

You can gain a "first level" one with a feat...but to use it you have to meet/exceed the same DC I do.

But that said there are some really useful ones. That would be useful to almost any class.

Freedom of movement for one round...aka Nat 20 an escape artist

+5 non type bonus to a single skill for 5 rounds.

Just to name a few.

Re: ABILITY SCORES

I may have to look into it also
As I can spend inspiration to add my level to the skill check letting me hit higher DCs when I really need to

Of course is an utterance better than skill tricks for situational purposes?

Skill tricks can be used once per combat encounter or...I believe...1 hr out of combat.

Utterances can be used repeatedly untill you can no longer meet the DC.

The DC increases by +2 each time it is used in a 24 hour period.

You can't have more then one "version" of the utterance in effect.

Utterances provoke AOOs unless you raise the DC by 5

Utterances are supernatural not spelllike

Utterances are subject to spell resistance unless you raise the DC by +5

If you raise the DC by 20 you can use use utterances in zone of silence of any caster level.

Re: ABILITY SCORES

you said the grease evaporates rapidly, why would it impact anything?

I feel like tydor left the game, which I can understand you making this hard. or maybe they were an npc that is now no longer going to help. perhaps say that? it's better than us spinning our wheels.

not mad, and probably jumping the gun again.

The grease would ruin any footprints that could be tracked in the area it landed.

Tydor did leave the game but I wanted to find a reason for it. You all don't have to care if you don't want to. I mean, he will probably be in the complex somewhere and you are exploring the place anyway so the party will come across him at some point. Unless he ran away back to the surface.

Re: ABILITY SCORES

I think it's great to have him disappear and be a storyhook :) rather than just having him disappear. Tydor was with us a while, and while we know his player left, our characters wouldn't know that and I think would be concerned about him.
