Since no one seems to know how Iaijutsu focus works
I am just going with using it to break the rock and free the kid

Re: ABILITY SCORES

you arent in the same room as the boy, you all went into the hall and started talking.
if you look on the map, you will see the hall that goes east and west. the boy is in the room north of it.

also, as a note, iajutsu focus doesnt work any different for shattering or breaking things except to do more damage.

by the by, gm.
If Beagan insists on smashing the stone, which would also smash the part of the stone thats fuzed with the boy... thus shattering part of the boy...

Nixif is going to just stop and back off... having no part in that.

Thank you. it seems to not like such long, repetitive tables, but I figured out a way to make it work. I love maps

the above is the code for the map.

I used rpol's table script because it breaks things down into cells (like excel) and if you keep the content small then it can easily represent the 5 foot square grids.

As mentioned in the previous post, it seems to stop registering repetitive txt in the same row so if you want a bigger map then you will need to add more symbols for walls and barriers.... however, this is perfect for wilderness because you want to distinguish tress from bushes anyways.

If you JUST want marcheing oder without a map, a 5 by 5 grid can work too. (though, sometimes eccentric scouts, like myself, like to be something like 15 or 30 feet ahead of the part and that may need something like a 5 by 9 (or 9 by 5) grid. rude ass me's.

something the map shows, though, is that the rows seem to extend to match the top row. so a clever lazy mapper could avoid making half the map in code but yet have it come out right

Re: ABILITY SCORES

Wouldnt we have to roll initiative and enter into rounds the moment Clover tried using something to effect the rock/stone creature?

I dont mean to mess with anything but I feel like that was kind of a lot done there. Also, never heard of an ability that lets you talk things out of existence, could someone link me to what Clover is using?

Beagan WobbleCog:
True naming
True speaking
I think

Yes...a word of nurturing utterance grants a fast heal

While the reverse does damage

The exact phrasing of the reverse states that it speaks a small piece of the creature out of existance.

Whether the pieces is the nose is the piece the goes is not under Clover's control...but a 22 intimidate proves that clover believes he can do it.

reversed utterance of word of nurturing, minor:
You unmake a portion of the creature's being as you utter the reverse of the life giving words. You deal 2d6 damage to the subject. If you concentrate for 1 round (a standard action) and the target remains I. Range (60ft) you deal another 2d6 damage at the end of your next turn

Re: ABILITY SCORES

ah, nice flavoring. I've never seen this sort of thing in play before and may actually try to use it in the future as the minor versions (gained from feats) seem like a great alternative to spell casting. It doesnt seem to scale too well but the utility words (and healing words) dont seem to need to scale (it seems to me they can be used over and over again).

Since they are in missile range and have no ranged weapons, the party can do what they want for the first round.

Re: ABILITY SCORES

Well since my threat took effect that is my action for the first round.

And since it took effect then that confirms that the unmoving "statue" is infact a living creature with a 100% certainty, this is known because the reverse utterance only affects living creatures.
