although, I do disagree with that idea. one can purchase slaves in a culture that believes in slavery and not be evil... even more so if they are purchasing the slaves with the express intent to give the slaves the best possible life the person can safely provide them in such a cultural environment.

What a distasteful edit. for anyone wondering why I am talking about slaves... jess here, aka clover, thought I was a player they had a debate with on whether buying slaves is evil or not. Jess stated they feel that buying a slave for ANY reason is evil, period. or, maybe not the EXACT words jess used but they did say buying a slave was just evil and something along the lines of for any reason.

and this also is another example of why i wont play games gm'ed by jess, they basically just gaslight'ed me right there. I dont really mind playing alongside someone like this, it doesnt matter in the end, but I wont put in time and effort where someone like this controls the fate of that time and effort.

by the way, you could have just pm'ed me, you could have even just left it alone. I didnt know YOU were jess until you said something about arguing with a player about slavery and the nuances of evil.

instead, you made things worse and reinforced my statement.

After looking into it, you are correct. I mistook you for someone else.

It was wrong of me to speak without double checking my information. If I had double checked I could have save you from needing to defend your self from my false accusations.

I have found myself without the time to be able to run a game currently.

I had thought about trying to find people to co-gm and run a whole series from start to finish.  Like everyone in the game is also a gm so that no one gets too much work on them.

I have done it once in a play by post game and it was ok, except when it was your turn you just went any direction you wanted, and then whoever took over next would have to go from where it ended.  But perhaps with something set, it would go easier.....

if you want to do a co gm thing, I have a game i've left on stanby, pathfinder, that if someone wanted to co gm on then I'd pick that game back up. I have 2 player s who have been loyally sitting in it too (and I think one of the players from here was, or maybe is, there as well.)

no, its kind of sandbox, I have a custom map with a general plot and some side shit made out but its meant to be free flow. The big bad will become more and more of a problem until its dealt with (they can also serve the big bad if they really want) I made it so they have plenty of time before things get really hairy.

You can do gm'ing as well as play a char, the game is designed to allow player independence.
