Vault Ventures Lounge - Intro Thread
The whisky's price really depends on quality and based on the unmarked jars it's not, though it looks a bit old from the dust, might be worth something, hard to say, and it's still whiskey and even cheap whiskey is somewhat valuable, the cheap stuff back at the Off-Key Inn was 5 silver a shot. Obviously it would be cheaper by the bottle, but there's around 30 half gallon jars of pure whiskey each of which has about 40 shots worth, so by the Inn prices each would be worth about 20 gold, say half that for wholesale, 10 gold each. The eggnog and pickled eggs are the same size, but there's fewer of each of those, around 10 each, the eggs almost definitely less than the whiskey by itself, the eggnog you're unsure of.
Darien: the eggnog reads to be very high alcohol content eggnog, it smells better than the fresh stuff if you like that sort of thing.
Pat says "Oh yes, you can age Eggnog for years if you use enough alcohol" He sniffs at it again, "Yes, definitely enough in there. Aged eggnog is quite prized up north, they've got contests for it, but it's not really my thing. I wasn't quite sure it was eggnog as it smells a bit different than what I'm used to, I suppose they used this whiskey instead of rum."
(OOC: remembered Veryn has a farming background.)
Veryn says "Something's not right here, the tools in the barn don't look up to doing the work around here. That generator's suspicious, and it doesn't look like anyone's been in the cellar for years. Where are the previous occupants?"
Pat says "Well, I did hear the goblins conversing when I was captured, that they'd killed them all."
Veryn says "Then where's the bodies?"
Veryn says in regards to the animals "We should really take them back to the general store to get full value for them. If you want I could take them and put your share of money in your Vault Ventures account, and get the paperwork started on the farm. I'm not sure going out to the edge of civilization is going to suit me. Just being at this farm brings things I'd rather forget. I could probably take the other stuff in bags on the animals too, and hitch the generator to them."
