Emberdell, Day 1

Four Fire Beetles
Event: Party scouted the beetles and moved elsewhere.
Result: Good.


A Flock of Stirges
Event: the party is surprised and attacked by seven stirges.
Result: Only one stirge survived, with minor injuries to the party. The party discovers several goblin and orc bodies, along with a pack containing a journal and a map to a location named "Exidamarall", which appears to be the name of an old necromantic cult lost to antiquity.

Emberdell, Day 1

Orc and Goblin Patrol
Event: the party encounters a large orc and goblin patrol, apparently hunting a bear. The party manages to approach undetected due to distractions, but is eventually spotted. A large melee is avoided by the application of Sleep spells, rendering two thirds of the patrol unconscious. The rest, seeing themselves outnumbered and magically overpowered, run away.
The party proceeds to sever the heads of the patrol for bounty payment. It is a bloody business.
Result: Victory
