Not the one in the tree, but yes, you can close to melee with her.

Re: OOC

Voh'ren, your bonus seems a little low there. Did you remember flanking and possible charge bonuses? Just making sure before I write up the next round.

Re: OOC

I think it's right including the power attack? I let Kiru have the flank and added them in, but I don't think I'm hitting anything if I roll a 3. :-p

Re: OOC

I tend to be permissive with turn order, especially in PbP where initiative is such a wonky thing. So you can move up, have Kiru move into flank, and then attack with flanking for both of you.

And you might be surprised - her AC is currently only 20, hence why I ask. That +2 from flanking nets you a hit.

Oh wow, okay. Thank you! I'm phone posting at work and can use the dice roller but can't really edit. I'll roll right now.

Don't forget your +1 to attack and damage rolls (among other things) from Bristle's Prayer spell too!

It's cool. You've diplomacied your way out of so many situations this is the first major combat you've had in this game - it's normal to forget small bonuses.

Re: OOC

This story is awesome!

How far away is Whisper from Bristle, the dragon, and the bear?

As I understand it, Voh'ren, Kiru, and Hester are near the real Whisper, and Firea and Caleb are near where we appeared, correct?

Are the last two Whisper duplicates still there and still a threat?

Edit: Also, I am glad that fire resistance 20 actually came in handy!

Re: OOC

Okay, going in order.

Whisper is 30 feet away.

You are correct.

They are still there, but you don't know whether they're a threat.

And yeah, fire resistance helped - half the damage is unholy from that spell and beats resistance, but that just means the spell negates all the fire damage, making that 11d6 roll do about 15 damage. Very, very fortunate in that, if she rolled max somehow that would have wiped Caleb in one shot. Whisper's finally getting serious with you now.

Re: OOC

Thanks. Sorry for all the questions, bit I do have one more. What does Bristle see with he Deathwatch Eyes? I am thinking about blasting Whisper with Enervation, but wouldn't want to do so if she somehow registers as undead. (Plus it is always handy to know how much our initial attack hurt her.)

Re: OOC

Just gonna throw it out there, that hurt me a lot. Some healing would be deeply appreciated, because I don’t think I can take another of those.

Editing because I’m apparently out of it, I misread the damage numbers. Feel free to ignore my rambling.

Bristle: unsung hero of the fight for clearing out a ton of images, making it hard for Whisper to do her vanish-dodge ability.

I, for one, would like to thank you for your sacrifice.

Also, am I interpreting the scene correctly? From Bristle's perspective you just got blasted by a Whisper spell, then immediately afterward you and your wolf went and attacked a random plot of dirt? Ooc I am sure you have a good reason, but IC it sounds hilarious. :-P Bristle would probably be very confused if she weren't so preoccupied.

Oh, also, since Whisper took an action it means we can all act again, right? What actions did Firea take last turn?

Re: OOC

Voh'ren got hit with a nausea spell but walked it off, Kiru caught Whisper's scent, and both of us tried to wail on her (probably) to no avail.

I forgot to have Firea take an action, and yes, you can act, but let me post first real quick because Voh'ren might not have found what he expected.

Re: OOC

Voh'ren had a bit of an oopsie? This kind of thing is exactly what my Status spell was for! What is the current general direction and distance tho Voh'ren? (Did he fall 300 feet? Get transported elsewhere?) And does he have any new ailments?

He rolled downwards twenty feet and is fundamentally unharmed, with no new ailments. Also, anyone closely looking at that garden plot can roll a will save (it's an illusion effect).

Awesome. Thanks.

Hester, what would have been given to Caleb? What would we need to bring with us? I feel like I missed something. As far as I am aware, Caleb is still standing, so we at least don't need to drag him with us if he is what needs to be brought.
