Re: OOC

I remember now that Joanna informed us earlier that she was going to have spotty access for a week. In light of this, and in order to keep things moving, I am going to share a perception result off to another player on her behalf. Feel free to both act on this information, if you manage to find the time and connection.

Eagerly awaiting your full return Joanna.

I must say that Darius' entry was masterfully annoying and extremely hilarious!  Bravo!

Re: OOC

If you set out with the caravan in the morning by noon two days from then. On your own as soon as tomorrow night if you take minimal rest and travel through the night.

Re: OOC

I think that Yadundre would at the very least have brought along food and water if they are striking out ahead of the caravan.

Re: OOC

Provisioner doles it out at appointed times. Its rationed. Its not like there is a market to buy the stuff at in the caravan. Water isn't an issue, plenty of wells along the way and you all have canteens.

With as many travelers as there are, its very likely that there are some among the masses hawking meals, treats, and common fare. Just buy from them if you can't collectively meet your own needs hunting and foraging. Hunting and foraging is built into travel time so it wont cost you more.

Re: OOC

It does seem well traveled enough that we can buy at least the bare minimum to eat if needed.

Re: OOC

Sorry, I don't mean to be difficult here. It's just, as the GM alluded to, Darius is a pretty selfish and grouchy person. I'll fold if you insist IC, though, to make the game flow more smoothly. :)

Re: OOC

I want to collect opinions on how everyone would like to manage personal finances. I would prefer not to have the bookkeeping behind itemizing every single transaction for food and the like. After you receive your wages from the caravan, how does everyone feel about starting a monthly cost of living? because you have taken care of what I feel is half of your cost of living, then for this month and any other month you decide to coexist you can pay your share of the rent and then 50% of your CoL for your status.

We will take your CoL up front when you get your pay, and then simple things like your tavern bills, basic wardrobes, and entertainment will be covered for the month. Things like buying the tavern a round, bribes, and tips won't be covered.

Re: OOC

In reply to Crom (msg # 33):

I like the idea of grouping all the little stuff into one monthly budget. So for status 0, normal folk, without any wealth advantages or disadvantages, cost of living is $600/mth. With half of this accommodation, we are essentially paying $300 per month, which is normal for one individual.

Note that we usually start with a complete wardrobe for free, costing 1 months cost of living and weighing 20 lbs, at least. Should we assume that this is carried in the Caravan, or was 80+ lbs stuck on Darius' horse?

Re: OOC

Why am I not surprised at the revelation from a priestess of Derketo!  What a way to die I must say...

Would Yadundre get any sort of bonus being a follower of Derketo?  I assume a Fear or terror roll is made against willpower?

Re: OOC

Yes, roll against your will -2. Modifiers like fearless do apply because it is a fright check.

Being a follower of Derketo might make you accustomed to being around beautiful women, but this is something else entirely.
