Re: Tyranny of Dragons: Episode 1: Greenest in Flames
Newman eyed the last kobold nearest to him, knowing what must be done.  There however was no hesitation as he charged forward with speed that may not be expected from such a large being as he.  In an instant he loomed over the hapless creature menacingly.  He was only there about two seconds.  That was more than enough time than he needed to raise and lower that heavy maul with vicious fury—though not as much as usual.  Still he hit hard and true leaving the kobold where it lay.  Then turning on his heel and charging after the last standing kobold...  though he was quite a ways away so he didn’t quite make it yet...

Movement: go to S-14 using 10 feet of my movement.

Action: murderize kobold B with my maul.

12:09, Today: Newman rolled 25 using 2d20+5, dropping the lowest dice only with rolls of 20,17.  Reckless attack on kobold B got a crit.

12:09, Today: Newman rolled 12 using 4d6+3 with rolls of 1,1,5,2.  Crit Damage on kobold B which unless I am mistaken will kill it.

Movement after attack:  go to S-18

Note: Any attacks on me until my next turn have advantage

Newman leveled the kobold on his way toward the rest of the fight. However, hopefully it would be finished before he was needed on that side of the battlefield.

“That was impressive, Newman,” Lisica said as she moved to stand beside the warforged; the kobold hadn’t stood a chance. Their little makeshift group had the beginnings of a real company. She scanned the area, not seeing any other threats in her range. An ambush coming up behind them was just as likely as anything else; they’d certainly made enough of a ruckus.

Moving up to R18 to stand next to Newman. Pretty sure that will take two movements, but not much else for me to do atm.

Lisica takes a defensive position with the warforged to watch the party's back while they deal with the final kobold.

At the same time, the final kobold takes his dagger and swipes at Mack, who manages to shift his body enough to dodge the attack skillfully. There is a mix of both fear and anger in the growl that accompanies the attack.

As Mack dodges the little kobold's attack, he realizes everyone seems to be running to him. Looking around a bit, he notices all the other enemies have been defeated already. It's just like the other battles earlier!

"I know what do! Capture last guy!"

At this point the combat has essentially ended, you're free to post anytime now. I will sparsely post for the Kobold attempting to escape if necessary as we move along.

Gorn moves over to where Mack has the kobold, [Language unknown:  "Ndethepre!"] he tells him, [Language unknown:  "li M hispr a ulerlo res t es ckut nde thore ut maliac e tedntetio."] Looking at Mack, "bring him over here by this rock where they had the tiefling tied up." Then looking at her, "Would you like the pleasure?" curious as to what might go through her mind at this point.

Careena watched from her position on the boulder and when the human spoke to her, her insides warmed with the chance to get some revenge for the way they had treated her. While she carried a smile inside at the possibilities before her, the look on her face was one of pure anger and despite. Jumping down from the rock, she began to spin her staff in her right hand as she slowly walking towards the creature.

Mack bares his teeth proudly as he holds the squirming kobold. He places it where Gorn asked and watches curiously for what the lady they rescued (without even being near her!) is going to do.

Picking up the pieces of rope that had been used to restraint the tiefling, Gorn fashions a noose and places it over the kobold's head,  Realizing Mack's strength is much greater than his, "Mack would you kindly hold this, and keep it tight."

Turning back to the kobold, " as he drew his sword and pointed to the tiefling.

At this point Gorn is going to wait to get responses from the rest of the group and to see if the kobold responds to his comments so far.

"Thank you.  You do good too."  Newman said to Lisica when she complemented him. He offered her one of his grins before charging ahead... only to slow when it became evident the battle was already over.  Mostly.

He approached the kobold being held by the others though he didn't relax his weapon stance as he watched.  When the rope was placed over his head his eyebrows went up a bit before furrowing as his facial features shifted to a more confused look.  "Are you hanging him?"  He looked to the tiefling--for the first time recognizing she was the one who had been tied up before.  "Oh...  Hello lady!"  He grinned and waved to her apparently oblivious to the mood of the happenings here.

Aglar stepped closer to the kobold that was tied and restrained. "Gorn has been telling the kobold that he should tell the group what he knows and of course, threatening his life." He turned to the Tiefling that had been tied up by the kobolds. "You're lucky that we found you when we did. I'm Aglar. Are you seeking the castle?"

The Kobold struggled against Mack's grasp, but it was ultimately futile. Eyes wide and shooting around in panic, the small reptile shouts, [Language unknown:  "Mihassll lenc ec leshatich water! Ul masiun ncpete!"]

Obviously trembling in the grip of the bugbear, the creature whimpers quietly in very broken common, "Dragon lady...loot."

Not surprised by the kobold's answer, he turned to the rest of the group. "He claims they are looting for the Dragon Lady, who I'd guess is the one leading everything going on around here. I asked where we could find her and he says South."

"What do we do with him now?" as he glances back at the kobold and then back to the rest of the group.

Mack considers knocking the kobold out, but they've stopped squirming so much now. He hands them off to Banelin. "To church go!" Mack sets off in that direction humming a hymn Emily sometimes sang around religious holidays.

Newman tried but failed to follow the conversation.  Mostly it seemed to be in a language he didn't understand so that was not helping him here.  The warforged watched Mack hand the kobold over to Banelin and then announce they were going to the church.  He paused as he watched Banelin take possession of the kobold.

"Okay bye!"  Newman then hurried to fall into line next to Mack--the only person he could look up to in a literal sense as Mack was taller than he.  Maul in hand he was ready--or at least he felt like he was.

"We're right here at the tunnel entrance." Aglar suggested that they wait for Banelin to return. "We can wait until he returns before we head off to the Mill." He turned to the Tiefling that was rescued from the kobolds. "Do you wish to go to the keep as well?"
