You do not have to be "good" in the game. You could very well be "evil" (by human standards). The game does have an overarching plot but characters can do "Whatever they want." Actions have consequences of course.

Players cannot be ANYONE from the dresdenverse. You could, however, be employed by one if it makes sense. Example:
Tech at the morgue for Butters.
Newbie Warden under Morgan.
Fae Elven helper of Santa (literally one of Mab's crew)



Just as an FYI, everyone will be supernatural level starting out.
