The upper bones of the creature effectively explode, scattering every which way, leaving only its hip bone attached to a pair of wobbly legs that quickly collapse into a disorganized pile.

As Erin’s attention is pulled toward the immediate threat to Ser Andra, the skeleton next to her attempts to plunge its spear into her midsection. Thankfully, Erin sees the attack in time and turns her hips slightly, and the spearpoint slips by her with no effect.

The mage regains his footing and levels his staff at the offending creature, blasting it with arcane energy. The skeleton explodes in a burst of bone and dry marrow.
