Just to make sure, Fost is going to keep the building between him and Fenny/Fancy? Or is he running along the front side (top in view) of that house?

Also, for everyone, as a general rule, if you don't give me a specific distance (or destination), I assume that you're using your full movement. (And, in case I didn't mention it, the squares in the upper section of the map are 2 yards each.)

Is 'up' = North?

Then NW, NW, NW and then W, i.e. along the northern edge of the house.
Should be 10.5 yards, diagonal factor included.

It's actually where I presumed to end up last round but a) did not describe well enough and b) Speed does not suffice

I still got my minor action to correct any mistakes really but looking at the map and the spot I was a bit confused as to where and they were. Do point any mistakes I may have made.

Fenny acted before Erin (and is trying to get away from her), so Press the Attack would be ineffective in this situation.

If you like, I can have you close on him to 4 yards away (Novice Pole Arm talent ability) and attack from there.

Sure! That's why I said I had that minor action free, in case something didn't match. :D

Hmm.
So Fost downed Nolan pretty easily.
Now I return to him, still drawn sword surely was enough indication that the man should leave his bow right were it was. , kind of intimidating him and... he just grabs his bow?

Just asking whether you missed my 'threat' or whether Nolan truely has the guts to just ignore Fost.

Thanks for the heads up.

I've never had the pleasure of travelling west of the U.S. Left Coast (tm), and the closest my dad got to Viet Nam was a landing strip in Laos, I think, when his plane had to refuel on the way to his carrier (USS Constellation); they were allowed off the aircraft, but were restricted to a 50-foot perimeter around it. Needless to say, he never got a chance to take in the sights. ;)

I presume Nolan meant to say Fancy rather than Erinn? Or is that the woman's true name and Fantasy was the one of the possessing demon?

He meant to say "Erinn" (two n's). That is the she-elf's true name. Fantasy is the desire demon's name; Fancy is the name the demon-dominated personality used.

(Erinn was the name I picked for her in the episode 102 storyline, before Erin joined us - yes, the apostate, the archer, and the she-elf are the same characters, retooled slightly for the new story.)

I know! Not bad. :)

I was waiting to see if Tyrus was going to respond to Fost's rant before moving on to the next scene. I'll give him a little more time and post something this evening or tomorrow morning.

A rant?
Just read again and don't think it was a rant.
Actually it was supposed to be amusement and the expectation that a mage would reveal details of his plan to someone who would not understand due to lack of magical expertise anyway.
Thanks for the Feedback!

Please don't read too much into the choice of words. After I read it a couple times, I was waffling between rebuke, challenge, and rant, and nothing else was coming to me...maybe I should've gone with "observation." I wasn't making any judgment of the quality of the writing; whatever the intent behind his words, you're playing Fost very well.

On an administrative note, if you are above 0 Health after an encounter, you're able to "take a breather," which is a 5-minute rest that allows you to regain 5 + Constitution + Level Health.

Also, Tyrus will regain 1d6 + Magic in Mana Points for each hour of rest.

Since the apostate woke up in only about 5 minutes, you folks haven't had a time to rest yourselves, so we'll handle that after the conversation.

Edit: It just occurred to me that I may not have given out any experience since the restart of the campaign. You should've received 400 for the demon fight, a bonus of 100 for rescuing Ser Andra (and keeping her alive), 100 for the fade-touched nug fight, and 250 for this most-recent fight. I'll even throw in an extra 100 for keeping both primary antagonists alive.

So, each character should be at 6,950 experience.

Hmm, once again my lack of DA Lore kicks in.
What would templars do with one as Fenwithe?
I kind of am uncertain, might have been 'easier' to kill him in the fight.
Fost does not quite have the moral guts to execute even one as Fenwithe.
Naturally we could bring him to Lothering and the Church there. Seems a bit risky though...

OOC Discussion II

Templars are enforcers and protectors. They guard the individual circles, but also hunt down apostates of all kinds. Sometimes they're required to kill them, but they usually try to capture them and bring them to a circle.

The circle attempts to rehabilitate apostates and bring them into the fold, but, sometimes, they must instead be stripped of their connection to the Fade through the Rite of Tranquility, which also strips of their ability to dream. These "Tranquil" end up in a sort of semi-conscious state, devoid of emotions. Tranquil end up performing administrative, logistic, and service roles within circles, and also create potions and runes.

Based on Fost's understanding of things, the Templars would either hold him until their contemporaries from Kinloch Hold (the Ferelden Circle) can come retrieve him, or take him there themselves.

Now, there are generally two types of apostates. Some have never had any formal training, and may not even be aware of their nature (kind of like Brother Loran in the previous incarnation of this campaign). Others have escaped or rebelled against a circle.
