What you are seeing is a temporary prison platform that has partially collapsed into the Bay presenting a hazard to shipping in the area. The assailants were black clad armed with military grade submachineguns from what we understand. Not one assailant was captured. The Champions allowed these black clad assailants to liberate the PRIMUS Prisoners, kill 3 PRIMUS Agents and send another 3 to the Hospital. Why are our tax dollars supporting a super team that isn't that super!" comes Vernon's latest report on the failings of the Champions. Vernon is a short bespeckled man in his late 40s or early 50s. A white man he's been at WNBC now for a decade. He takes a hard line on super heroes who fail to protect and the politicians that support them. Ambulances can be seen on the docks and three stretchers with the sheets pulled over their heads are sitting while the three live agents in critical condition are being loaded in. The picture pans to show all 5 Champions, Defender (their leader), Ironclad, Kinetik, Sapphire and Witchcraft. None of them appeared injured or in any way maimed and the camera zooms in on each to hone in this point.

PRIMUS reconsidering agent armor standards

After the latest attack against PRIMUS, PRIMUS is considering an upgrade to their standard agent armors. The prototypes are being manufactured in Champion City. They are due for deployment to PRIMUS at the end of the month.


PRIMUS reeling from latest attack

PRIMUS is reeling from the latest deadly attack. Not used to heavy casualties since Dr Destroyer disappeared a few years ago, they are not sure what to make of the latest attacks. PRIMUS guards are doing double shifts now and increasing their presence at prisons. UNTIL has offered to give support, which President Trump has so far declined.

Charity Ball tonight at the Harmon House

A Charity Ball and auction are being put on at the Harmon House by James Harmon IV. The guest list is a virtual Who's Who of Champion City and will include a performance by Corrie Valenzuela, the popular singer turned superheroine also known as Sapphire.

The hit History channel show is filming in Champion City this week, reportedly trying to get Ironclad to talk about his people and their possible role in the development of mankind.

You see a scene of a burning factory. Hovering above it is a PRIMUS VJET. The VJET is obviously damaged itself. A dozen firetrucks and ambulances are on the scene. A half dozen gurneys with sheets over the heads of the occupants are lined up. Kinetik and Defender are talking with Police.

Vernon somewhat disheveled appears on camera, "Once more the Champions have failed this city. Terrorist used rockets to fire into the PRIMUS factory that you see in flames. This factory was responsible for the development and deployment of new body armor for PRIMUS agents that would have prevented deaths such as the ones here and the ones at the port recently. How much longer will the town continue to support these Champions!"

The anchor asks Vernon, "Vernon have you been able to talk with Defender yet?"

"No, they've kept me from getting any closer. It's a damn erosion of our freedom of press. These PRIMUS boots are no better than the Champions we pour in millions of dollars and get blown up buildings and dead bodies. Here we took some footage of an apartment building that was strafed by the PRIMUS VJET. We were told that they believe the rockets had come from the Apartment building's roof. They strafed it in an effort to kill the terrorists. Our cameras nor members of the Police could find any dead terrorists. What we did find was a half dozen apartments damaged and open to the elements from the VJET's blasters as well as damage to the roof. The Building Inspector will appear soon and be deciding whether the building can be occupied or not. If it's not able to be occupied nearly 200 citizens will be without housing tonight and on the cold streets." Vernon reported back.


"Vernon we've got to cut to the Harmon House now were another attack has just occurred, we'll get back to you in a moment." the anchor said.

"Carrie, what are you getting at the Harmon House," the anchor asked.

Carrie with her blonde hair and blue eyes was in her mid twenties, half the age of Vernon, she was the up and coming reporter.

"Yes Cliff I'm here at the Harmon House, a group of black clad gunman appropriated the auction items away from the House. It is reported that the items were worth millions of dollars. It appears that both Sapphire and Witchcraft were present during the apparent robbery. Witchcraft was wounded and was taken by Sapphire to the Champions base for medical attention prior to my arrival. It appears all of the gunmen escaped relatively unharmed making off with the purloined items with little trouble. It appears the Champions had anticipated an attack here but failed to anticipate one at the PRIMUS Factory. As far as we can tell at this point but it is just preliminary the gunmen disguised themselves as caterers and gained access to the Harmon House as part of the catering crew. No one appears to have been hurt though there is significant damage to the grand ball room I'm told from Sapphires blasts against the gunman, it seems Sapphire could use a bit more practice in the danger room." Carrie reported.

The cameraman is showing damage to the walls and floor of the Grand Ballroom. The blasts are burn marks consistent with Sapphires blasts.

Along the body of the screen there is an alert, Businessman Maxwell Strong, CEO of GeneTech murdered at Geno's Pizzeria. Murderer on the lose.

PRIMUS is Reeling

Thanks to the black clad troopers of the Black Emperor PRIMUS is reeling from a series of attacks. Following the attack on the port a few days ago, a new attack on the PRIMUS armor facility has set back the personal protection plans of PRIMUS for months if not years. It is reported that more than 1 PRIMUS agent was killed in the attack on PRIMUS.


Harmon House Robbed

Black Emperor's squad also struck the Harmon House in coordination with their strike on the PRIMUS Factory. Witchfire was reportedly grievously injured in the fighting. She is recovering at an undisclosed location possibly Champions Headquarters.

Sapphire was holding off the agents of the Black Emperor who were forced to retreat. They however managed to take the loot with them. However sources inside the Harmon House reveal to us that nothing important was taken and what was captured by the Black Emperor were replicas.

Other sources tell us that prior to the Black Emperor's attack that the Harmon House was actually robbed of the real goods. Who perpetrated this crime is unknown but it appears there is no footage of this criminal act. No official report of this robbery has been released by the Harmon House.


Champions have Activated Reserve Members

With the incapacitation of Witchfire the Champions have activated a couple of reserve members we hear. Seeker and Crusader have come out of retirement to fill the void. Thankfully neither is a specialist in magic and thus are a poor substitute for Witchfire.


GenTech CEO Maxwell Strong Decapitated

GenTech CEO Maxwell Strong who's company announced it expected a breakthrough in COVID vaccine research just last week was decapitated this afternoon while eating pizza at Geno's Pizzeria.

While details are not entirely accurate it appears a shapeshifting assassin that could form blades with their hands was the assailant. Who hired them is unknown though sources here at VNN say that VIPER has been interested in acquiring GenTech for some time. With the death of Maxwell it is likely VIPER will acquire the company in the near future through one of their holding companies.

Mayor De Blasio blasts Champions and PRIMUS

Mayor De Blasio is calling for the city council to cut funding to the bumbling and incompetent Champions after the series of attacks recently. De Blasio has been working with the defund the police movement which we wholly support. Part of that is defunding superhero groups nationwide. It is our right to loot and pillage without fear of being sent to the hospital by some mutant scum.

BLM march through 34th Street scheduled for Saturday

BLM has organized with the approval of Mayor De Blasio a march through the historic 34th Street. Chosen because of it's symbolic value to the white supremists in movies such as Miracle of 34th Street. The march is seeking restitution from whites. Mayor De Blasio has stated that New York City's finest will stand down and allow the peaceful protest.

Strike Force has Disappeared

Strike Force, based out of Detroit, Michigan has disppeared. No villain has stepped forward to claim responsibility for their disappearance.

Governor Abbott of Texas has called for increased funding of Company G citing the failures of PRIMUS in New York recently for the need for Texas to shore up its own anti criminal unit.

President Trump to address the United Nations on Thursday

President Trump will address the UN this Thursday. His remarks are expected to be a scathing rebuke of the China virus. He is expected also to call for the dismantlement of UNTIL calling it an illegal intrusion into the American dream.

The AVL is seeking to expand into the Americas

The AVL is a British version of PRIMUS more along the lines of James Bond than along the lines of Robocop. It is reported that Prince William will visit with President Trump this week during the United Nations meeting to discuss possible access to the United States for the AVL.
